THREE LITTLE ANGELS CAME TO ME
The first little angel appeared in my dreams one dark and stormy night.
'I'm here to take away your darkness and bring you into the light."
"God saw that you were heavy of heart and shedding many tears..
I have come to comfort you and take away your deepest fears."
"Your life hasn't been what you wanted and things have gone all wrong...
So I am here to be with you and help you sing your chosen song."
The little angel took my hand and stayed with me throughout the storm...
When I woke up the next morning my burdens were lifted, my heart was warm.
The second little angel came to me on the warmest day of spring.
"I came to let you know that God has been listening to you sing."
"He is quite pleased that you have turned your life around.."
He is glad that peace and solace in your life you've found."
"I will show you the meaning of your life and that you've lived it well."
"You've shared your love with others even when your life was hell."
Then that little angel smiled and brushed a teardrop from my cheek..
I was in such awe of her that I couldn't even speak!
The third little angel came to me on a clear, crisp winter's day.
She told me "God has sent me to help you to be on your way."
"You've led a great life and all your friends were there for a reason.."
"Some have come and some have gone just like a changing season."
"You've left them all good memories and they won't soon forget you..."
"But now your journey has come to an end and I have come to get you."
I smiled and didn't hesitate, because I did understand...
As I started my final journey...with an angel hand in hand.
