A Mother’s Love lives thru the years
It carries past a veil of tears
The sunlight of a child so dear
Can be lost to your gravest fears

Angelic eyes look from above
And still can sense a Mother’s Love
The memories we can feel full of
Come shining like a peaceful dove

Though some held bodies wracked with pain
They long to fill the heart again
The illness that rent their bodies twain
But a Mother’s loss is Heavens gain

And some be lost at stranger’s hands
Taken away to stranger lands
A Mother counts the hourglass sands
Till they can hold their child again

And some with hearts so filled with rage
To rip apart a family’s page
The losses at such tender age
While knives and guns take center stage

But through it all a Mother’s Heart
And love that knows no end or start
And no matter how far apart
A Mother’s Love will not depart.
