I look in the mirror
and I see a person whose light was dim.
One that had faded with time because of
the lack of guidance and love.
The nature of my being and the life in
which i have found comfort and strength
in has enriched my life to the point of
complete submission.
But, still i was lost, with little guidance
and even less direction, i knew i needed
that one special person to accept me and
all that i am.
To accept the things of which i give freely
to that one special person would be the end
of one world and the beginning of another.
I found that person in You, love.
I found Your world meaning more to me
than mine ever had, knowing in my heart
that my needs and desires would come
first to You as Yours do to me.
I offered myself to You...
my body, my mind, my soul
and all that i have
to You.
You accepted my world and made it Yours,
as i have made Yours mine.
From the depths of my being,
i know You are the one...
that one special person
i've been longing for.
Thank You for showing me all the facets
of my life that needed a little change...
