KvanB's Star Wars-Inspired Costumes

"You can make all of the best and most screen-accurate costumes you want,
but if you don't have any one to wear them with when you play Star Wars,
what good are they?"

--TKvanB

"Try not. Do or do not. There is no try."

1999-2002 Queen Amidala costumes

These are some of the Queen Amidala costumes I have made.
The Senate gown was made in 1999, the Parade gown, 2000 and the black travel gown was done in 2001.
Queen Quincy has worn these costumes to as many events as we possibly can attend.

Here are several more Padme Amidala costumes inspired by Episodes I & II!
Quincy has the best time in the world attending events and conventions in costume.

In June 2000 our family used the airplane tickets we won to go to Los Angeles, California.
There we visited Paramont Studios in Hollywood for the first day(s) of shooting the final season of Star Trek:Voyager.

That's Quincy with some of the cast members of Star Trek Voyager.
We had a great time thanks to Jerry!

....and don't forget to see the Poster Cow!!

July 20, 2000 -- On July 15, The Magic of Myth exhibit opened at the Field Museum in Chicago to a phenomenal turnout. A pair of Jedi escort a Young Queen - some of the impressive fan-made costumes worn at the opening "They had really nice, high-quality costumes on," describes Groesbeck. "We had a very cute young Queen Amidala and her parents. Interestingly enough we have one of the costume sketches for the outfit that the girl was wearing on display here.

"Aren't you a little short for Princess Leia?"
--TK321 to Princess Quincy--

Queen Quincy enjoys wearing her costumes and sharing them with her friend, Taylor.

No Doubt, we have fun where ever we go and with who ever we meet.

Gwen Stephanie and her group, No Doubt had a very memorable performance when members of the Midwest Garrison appeared live on stage with the group, April 6th, 2002 at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago.
