May 25, 2000 The DayDream Team: Are they closet Ray Lewis fans? Folks, I realize that it's still early in this trial but so far this DA team makes the O.J. prosecutors look like Perry Mason. What was Clint Rucker thinking when he opened the door to Mr. Shinholster's private life??? Fummmmble! He gained the knowledge that this man works with drywall, is married and has three children...and he lost so much. So much. Regarding Shinholster's testimony on the events, my take is that he completely exhonerated Ray. And what of this "man in black" (not Lewis, not Oakley, not Sweeting), who was the only man that Mr. Shinholster saw with a knife? "We're still dealing with that, I don't want to discuss it at this time", was Rucker's response. Huh? It may be a little late for that. Why isn't this man a defendant? Perhaps he was not a friend of Ray Lewis. I see much reasonable doubt already and the defense witnesses have yet to testify. The question now appears to be, how many State witnesses will end up (back) in jail? Gwen was on probation and wasn't even supposed to be in the state of Georgia. We're now awaiting the "shooter's" testimony and the gentleman who is currently in jail on identification-fraud charges. What a mess. The lady prosecutor has been far and away the best to this point. Perhaps they should let her take over. I fully expect to see the DA team with tennis balls in their hands soon. |
