Ray Lewis Trial Begins

It's finally here. The hype, the spinning and the debates can now take a back seat to the real thing. I believe that this will be a highly emotional, well-fought battle by both sides and I would hate to be the oddsmaker for this unfortunate fiasco.

My 3 wishes for this trial:

1) That the truth (the whole truth) is exposed, leaving no doubt in anyone's mind as to the facts.

2) That if any of the 3 defendants are found guilty, they are properly punished.

3) That if Mr. Lewis is found not guilty, he uses this tragic mess as a springboard to grow up --fast.

Ray Lewis is a man with a first class ticket to the Hall of Fame at the mere age of 25. His position, just or not, has handed him the power to affect many other lives in a positive or negative way. If not guilty, please let him fully realize the effect that off-field decisions have on his reputation, his well being, his children and many other good people around him.
