Summerfest 2002 a day that changed the BWF forever. It was the day that the BWF became an "Official Professional Organization" but that was just one of the many highlights of the day. In addition, the BWF set attendance records not only for the company but for individual Summerfest events. The BWF blew the roof off and was by far the most hyped, most anticipated, most enjoyable, and most watched event of the entire Summerfest Weekend. However, that is not all that happened...it was the day that Devon Storm, 24 Karat, and Korean Krippler became legends as they put on two of the single most hellacious matches of all time in front of literally hundreds of screaming fans...

==For those who don't know the BWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP was vacated after Devon Storm won it during the BWF's DEATH MATCH III in April as he was too injured to defend the title, thus the CEO stripped him of the gold and put it on the line in what was supposed to be the first ever one on one meeting of two of the greatest superstars in BWF history. However, all of that would soon change!

BWF DEATH MATCH IV

-Devon Storm came out first and the crowd was very much against him right from the go. No one really knows why...but they were...despite the fact that they weren't f'n supposed to be...they were!! I mean...whatever! Anywho, so Devon came out to an immediate chorus of boos and jeers...which only pissed him off and he immediately began insulting all of the trailor park trash in attendance. Then 24 Karat came out and cut him off. This ensued a brawl to start the match off. The fans were into this one right from the get go. They wanted carnage and blood and they were willing to give anything for it! For that reason after Storm hit a monster DDT, he went to the outside and brought in some pans and began wailing on 24 Karat, this worked until 24 Kt kicked a trashcan back in his face with his strategically planted jump kick and while both men were down..."Kamikazee: Krippler's Theme" hit and out came the Korean Krippler and he came right in and started wailing on 24 Kt and Devon Storm. Eventually he knocked both of them out of the ring and then lept out on Storm who caught him in mid air and but the Krippler reversed it into a DDT on a trashcan lid. 24 Karat then came over with a chair and laid out the Korean Krippler, but as Storm was slowly getting up 24 Kt unloaded on him with multiple chair shots that sounded like gunshots. If you weren't there live, you have no idea! Karat then set up a table and hit an overhead suplex onto Storm through it. This lead to the Krippler pulling out an 8-Foot Ladder and ramming it into the face of 24 Karat and rolling him back into the ring and setting up the ladder. KK used the ladder as a sort of mechanical lever thing as he moved it in a manner to which it did a sling-shot thing into the face of Storm. This was followed by a 5-Star onto Storm with a chair! KK was hurt just as bad however and no pinfall was attempted. Then 24 Kt came by with 2 Trash can lids and started crushing people's heads. He then took Storm and hit another Over the Head Belly-To-Belly Suplex Throw Combo into a vertical ladder, however, when he went for a splash Storm flipped out and over sending 24 Kt crashing into it. He then set up a chair about 10 feet from the ladder and ran , lept off the chair, and hit a huge flipping suicide splash onto 24 Karat up against the standing ladder. Back in the ring, he used the ladder as a weapon by crushing both Krippler and 24 Kt's ribs and back. However, when he went for a powerbomb onto the ladder, 24 Kt reversed and hit a huge vertical suplex that broke Storm in two. Then he hit the Goldrush onto the ladder and Storm rolled out of the ring and onto a table. Then Krippler caught a shot from the ladder into the gut and then 24 Kt hoisted him high above his head in an amazing feet of strength and hit a huge powerbomb from the inside of the ring down onto Storm outside the ring through the table!!! A small "HOLY SHIT!" chanted started up around the ring and people just went crazy!! But as 24 Karat was flexing in the ring and showing off...the ref came over and counted the 1..2...3 as the Krippler was on-top of Storm. After the match...24 Karat beat on Storm some more as he seemed to blame him for getting pinned.

WINNER OF THE MATCH AND NEW BWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION--KOREAN KRIPPLER

==This all lead to the second match of the day. The 5th Death Match in BWF history. However, this match is considered to (potentially) be the last match in BWF history. So the 5th and (Possibly...ney...PROBABLY) last match ever had a lot of animosity and emotion going into it. The fans were jacked and the boys were worn out and tired, but they knew what they had to do. Storm was still banged up from the first match...limping more than usual and with his ribs tapped...he was seen warming up in the back...the Korean Krippler was seen shining up his new gold, yet he was complaining of a horrible headache...then there was 24 Karat the inigma...the ONE...the ONLY...the LIVING LEGEND...he was in the back and he was fired up, if he was hurt you couldn't tell.==

BWF DEATH MATCH V

--24 Karat came out first this time to an immense amount of boos from the now very anti-24 Karat crowd. So he told them to go to hell. Then the tornado siren went off and "STORM WARNING" hit and Devon Storm came to the ring spraying water all over the place and he was jacked...he and 24 Karat got right into it...exchanging lefts and rights as the new BWF WORLD CHAMPION, the Korean Krippler slowly made his way to the ring. The Krippler kicked 24 Karat in the head but then turned into a modified version of 24 Karat's GOLDRUSH through a nearby table from Devon Storm. Storm then went and began taunting the fallen 24 Karat. This would last until he began wailing on him with a folding chair...then the Krippler slowly limped back onto the scene and grabbed the chair while Storm was swinging it and laid him out. Then 24 Karat laid him out and took control. They went to the outside and weapons galore: trash cans, chairs, ladders, tables, and so much more were all implemented. At one point Karat took a baseball bat and broke it across the head of Storm who was down and out for a long time afterwards. Then Krippler and Karat began exchanging chair shots until Storm out an end to it with the trash can...when he went to hit 24 Karat with it...24Kt kicked him in the gut and Storm dropped the can onto his own head and then 24 Karat and KK both took turns kicking and attacking the prone Storm, but that was not enough. They both grabbed other weapons, but that was not enough. Then they grabbed OTHER weapons...Krippler began waffling the side of the can with a folding chair and 24 Karat found, belive it or not...an oil barrel...and just heaved it at the poor King of Xtreme. This was not enough however as KK hit a slingshot legdrop from the side of the ring...24 Kt set up a ladder and hit a huge splash!! << SMALL HOLY SHIT CHANT >> Moments later a bloody Storm emerged from the can and joined back in the fray with a huge running suicide dive into both 24 Karat and KK from off the side of the ring into three ladders. Then as KK and 24 Kt made their way back to the ring...the King of Xtreme was assaulted by an intoxicated fan. As he got up and turned around...24 Karat had KK bench pressed above his head and was walking around the ring showing off his strength when he just threw him down at Storm. With both men down...24 Karat lept from the ring and took out both men. Then he set up a table over near the entrance way, but Storm jumped him and laid it to him with a huge superkick that put him back on the table. Then Storm began climbing the entrance staging and lept off about half way up (15 feet) with a gigantic SENTON BOMB that destroyed both men as they crashed through the table. << SMALL HOLY SHIT CHANT BEGAN >> While Storm was down, but sitting up, the Krippler hit a VanDaminator with trashcan lid into his face, causing him to bleed even more. Then Storm was thrown back into the ring where hit a huge spinebuster and then locked on the ANKLE LOCK...Storm had Krippler ready to tap out when 24 Kt, came in but Storm let go of the ankle lock and hit a huge big boot to the face and then a snap powerbomb and locked on the infamous STORMSHOOTER!! 24 Karat was within seconds of tapping out when Krippler brought a table in the ring and then hit a Kamikazee on Storm. He then hit a piledriver on Storm through the table. Storm rolled to the outside and began stacking ladders...when he found a huge 15 foot ladder...he too this ladder and set it up...then hit a Tornado DDT from off the ladder onto Karat and rolled him onto the stack of ladders where he went for an elbow drop, but Karat moved...and Storm was knocked out cold when his head hit the stack of ladders. KK and 24 Kt fought in the ring for a bit before Storm rolled back in with a Kendo Stick and cracked both men in the head...then he went to Powerbomb 24 Kt to the outside on the ladders...but 24 Kt reversed it, but held on too long and Storm landed horribly on the edge of the ring...a move that cracked 3 ribs and left deep bone bruises on his spine...then after hitting the ring, he flipped the rest of the way around and crashed into the ladders << Entire Audience Gasped in Unison-this was SICK, Storm was like broken in half!! >> ...he crawled out of harms way for a bit as the other two continued fighting. Then after a second wind...Storm went to the back for a little bit...and returned with his trademark SLEDGEHAMMER...he took it to both Krippler and 24 Karat laying them very...VERY out...he put Krippler out on a table...and began climbing to the top of the 30 foot entrance way...then 24 Karat snuck up behind him as he was ready to jump...and he began wailing on him...then 24 Karat grabbed STORM and hit the GOLDRUSH down from the 30 foot scaffolding stagging through three tables and to the ground. << HOLY SHIT CHANT >> When Storm was down and clearly unconsious...as he hit his head on some of the staging on the way down...Krippler picked him up and set him up on a table and then set up the 15 foot ladder for the 5-Star Frogsplash, but then 24 Karat grabbed him and tossed him off the ladder and hit a splash of his own from the ladder for the 1...2...3!! After the match...all concern turned to Devon Storm who was given a thunderous applause from the crowd when he made it to his feet and walked out. There was a chant started for the King of Xtreme.

WINNER OF THE MATCH AND NEW BWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION--24 KARAT

==All in all it was a great show that was a tremendous effort from all of the guys involved. This includes, G-Doggy as ref (who hit a monster Hurricanaranna that I forgot to mention on the incomperable Devon Storm!)...J & Select Others as the Announcing Crew...and Craiggers running the camera and other technical stuff. It was an amazing day with amazing performances...everyone was running at right around 137% effort for the day and it was clearly shown by the audiences' reaction...the overall output of the match...and most of all by the memories that are locked up from this one!!++
