It all started with
"JIM PRICE"
Jim started back in 1970 driving for Kent Moore in Dallas, Texas.
He won three races that first year at a 1/4 mile dragstrip, driving a 1948 Chevy.
Moving on the next year to win twelve races.

Changing over to the oval tracks in 1973 he drove a 1970 Malibu owned and built
by Billy Brown at the Dust Bowl in Mesquite, Texas, winning nine races.
Beginning in 1974 he raced for the next five years for Ted Musgrave in his 1974 Chevelle at the Whitehorse Raceway in Tyler, Texas. Winning over thirty races during his
five year span. After that he won two races driving for Johnny Bowman in Tyler, Texas.


After a long break from racing, in 1994 he built his own car, a 1980 Malibu (shown above) in Roswell, New Mexico and drove at the Pecos Valley Raceway for one season before he started working with his son Brian.
