Dale Jarrett was just one of four top ten

finishers on Al’s Traveling NASCAR All-Star Team

By placing all four of his drivers in the top ten, Al set the NoVa NASCAR League record of 635 points for a four man team (beating Tristan’s 632 from last season).  Who’s laughing now, all you draft day naysayers?  With that record-setting performance, Al has accumulated the highest point total in the league.  Some might say two races into the season is too early to pick the season favorite to win it all.  I say it isn’t.  The favorite is Robert Wagner.  Write it down.

Al and Leeto are your division leaders.  Both of them have Martin, Craven, and Blaney.  The only difference is Al has Jarrett and Leeto has Waltrip.  Yeah, I think Al has a little more sticking power with that pick, too.

The highest-ranking undrafted driver is Joe Nemecheck (wait a second…how did Leeto’s not draft him?).  He’s in 20th, so I’d have to say that we did a pretty impressive job picking guys this season.  That is, everyone but Wes, who drafted the two drivers with the lowest point totals, Spencer and Earnhardt.  He’s already 414 points behind Al.  By the way, Wes didn’t score 414 points in either race.  I’m just sayin’.
