Morozov
still has some catching up to do in the coordinationdepartment. He can
be as awkward as a baby giraffe; all legs, and with a lot of skills that
look as if they belong with someone else's body.
When
the pieces do come together, Morozov looks like he will be a swift skater,
able to play the uptempo game that is a Penguins hallmark.
Morozov has a very sneaky, deceptive selection of shots and looks like he will be a big-goal scorer--in terms of importance, if not numbers. He will try to be too cute and make the extra play instead of shooting, but once he learns to use his hard and accurate shot to his advantage, he will be extremely effective. He is a good stickhandler and has a good sense of timing with his passes.
Morozov
is still learning the game (he is only 21) and will merit more time on
the power play once he learns his shot is a bullet that shouldn't be left
in the holster.
