In his first year at Morehead State Josh ran a personal best 8k of 26:31 at the University of Louisville. He placed 9th at the OVC Championships. In track Josh ran a season best 1:01.28 400m hurdles at Berea College, 2:01 for 800m at Wilmington College, 4:07 for 1500m at the OVC Championships, and 9:51 for the 3000m steeplechase at the OVC Championships.  His collegiate personal bests include:
