Karaka Prizegiving Night

The recent prize-giving night at Karaka RFC was a great success, with over 160 people attending a sit-down dinner, and an additional 30 people attending the speeches and awards. The player of the year went to Perry "Mad Dog" Stevens. Our MC for the night was Stu Wilson, who gave a tremendously uplifting speech of what "real" rugby is all about.

Karaka would like to thank the many generous sponsors for the variety of products and services for the raffles. Stu Wilson helped with the festivities and kept everyone in good humour throughout the evening, with raffle draws and funny anecdotes about rugby.
