Here are my picks for the 2007-08 California All-State team. I've seperated the teams into regions, and have selected 5 first-teamers, including a Player of the Year, 7 reserves and a few honorable mention picks for each region.
I only considered players I actually saw play, either during the season or in the summer, at some point. But since I saw nearly every playoff team this year, I don't think that's much of a limitation.
This year, many of my picks are different from the COA's official selections. I'm not entirely sure why this is. There was a good level of talent in California this season, so perhaps there was just a lot to choose from.
