SF Andrew David scored 24 pts and PF Joshua Lopez added 18 plus 9 rebs to lead #10 (North) West Hills to a 71-59 win over #12 (South) West LA in the consolation game of the Moorpark Tourney.
David made 8 of 12 shots from the floor, and Lopez nailed a pair of threes that gave West Hills at 61-56 lead with just under 8 minutes left in the game. The Falcons would hold the lead the rest of the way. Lopez was named to the all-tournament team for his efforts.
PG Ricky Branham also had a strong game for West Hills with 13 pts and 5 asts. Ctr Albert Moore contributed 7 pts plus game-highs of 10 rebs and 5 steals.
