Oxnard got yet another spectacular performance from Jeremiah Massey to post an 87-77 win at West LA Wednesday (12/19). Massey started at Center for the Condors and poured in a game-high 28 pts on 11 of 22 and added 15 rebs, 6 asts, 3 steals and 2 blocked shots (both of which he caught right after blocking them). His Kobe-esque putback jam in the 2nd half spurred a 13-4 Oxnard run that gave them a 10-point lead. SF William Brown added 19 pts including 3 threes for the Condors. West LA was led by M'Jumbe Williams, who had 22 pts, including 5 threes, plus 8 rebs and 8 asts. PG Taylor Parsons scored 14 for the Oilers. West LA led 34-33 at the half, but Massey had 21 pts and 9 rebs after intermission to lead the Condors. Also, the Oilers had trouble holding onto the ball all night, committing 23 turnovers to just 8 for Oxnard.

Webb inj his ankle early in 2nd half and did not return. Dickenson was benched for 1st half but played entire 2nd half. A Kobe-esque putback jam by Massey got Oxnard going with about 7 minutes left, spurring a 13-4 run and giving Oxnard a 10-pt lead. West LA got it down to 5 at 82-77 but that was as close as they would get.
The official scorer had a rough night - he allowed Thompson to play for about 30 secs after committing his 5th foul. And Caveness played until the first free throw after he committed his 7th foul.
