My scale was left home, so I couldn't weight this beauty...but it was probably my new PB!

This is Dave. He's a bass and pike angler. Never had been carpin' before in his life so I gave him my rod to play this carp in.

Now look what I have done. His first carp...and a wacker to boot!!!

My first of many screamers this day 18 Mar 2001. This common weighted in at 14lbs. He played with my bait for over one hour but finally succumbed to it!

This 20lb common was fought for around 30 minutes and netted at 7am. He was caught in a very snaggy part of my swim. Difficult to get in. He fell for P.corn with a strawberry meilie bom in a cage feeder. I was using my Gary Shears pay lake rod stands with the baitrunner off. Really was a nice fighter!

Jason 'Karper' carpin' at Russell Station. He has a real nice Abu bait casting reel. It really sings when casting out.
