Baseball Accessories
Batting Glove
Many batters wear this tight-fitting, soft, leather glove on their bottom hand (right for left-handed hitters, left for right-handed hitters) to help guard against blisters and to better grip the bat. Some hitters wear them on both hands, while some fielders wear them underneath their fielding gloves to soften the impact of hard-hit balls. (optional)
Pitching Toe
A molded, plastic piece that attaches to the toe of a pitcher's pivot foot shoe to prevent the toe of the shoe from wearing down. (optional)
Eye Black
Put two strips of this black wax under your eyes to absorb the sun's rays and prevent reflecting sunlight into your eyes when you are trying to catch a fly ball on a sunny day. (optional)
