All photos were taken out a window with a screen. I used a Kodak DX6440 digital camera with the zoom. You can take these kind of photos, too. First, find out when sunrise will be. Second, get up at that sunrise time. (It's better to do this in the late fall/winter, because sunrise is at around 7:00 - 7:30, opposed to summer, where sunrise is really early.) Third, get your camera ready, meaning it's already at maximum optical zoom, with no flash. Got outside facing the east, or go to a window facing the east. If you don't do that, you won't see the sunrise. An important thing is to wear sunglasses. While it may seem silly, wearing sunglasses doing this can save you from harmful UV rays and other hazards of the sun. Fourth, wait a little bit until you've got the perfect photo opportunity. This part is up to you - whenever you feel you've got a good picture, take it. Finally, have your pictures developed. If you're using a digital camera, look at the pictures and decide which ones you want to keep or delete. If you feel you didn't get good pictures, take some more or wait till the next day. Taking nice sunrise pictures is easier than you think - all you need is a camera.

TIPS: It's better to use a digital camera. Then you can easily transfer the pictures to your computer and email them. You can also look at your pictures right after you took them to see if you took good photos or bad photos.
