1. There are not enough park facilities in Adisham, and despite there being a children's play area, swings, football goals, and a tennis court; there is not enough things for teenagers to do in Adisham. And for every skater, or BMX'er there is nowhere to practice. This is a very popular pastime for the teenagers of Adisham.

2. As there is limited amount of things to do round Adisham, it leads to boredom among teenagers. This leads teenagers to try and "find" things to do, which can involve activity which adds to the local crime rates, such as vandalism, which could be avoided altogether if there was something for teenagers to do.

3.The amount of interest placed by the council in order to keep teenagers happy seems to be minimal, when was the last time you remember the council doing anything for teenagers? A long time back surely; and that's only done after complaining about it. We won't get a skate park unless we get our points across.

4. People nowadays get a lack of regular exercise, and with a skate park it will help teenagers get a regular way of exercising.

5. A way of skaters, rollerbladers etc. to practicing their skills at the sport, possibly putting Adisham on the map for skating prowess.

6. Stops young people skating in dangerous areas in the roads or on the street, in a controlled environment

7. All ideas of the skate park being vandalised when its up will be prevented by CCTV if necessary, but being for the teenagers in the first place, why would they want to vandalise it?

8. It is something that would be benifitial to all the local residents from Adisham, for parents it helps provides a safe area for their children to play, and for children themselves who have something to successfully hang out, relax and unwind to. This will stop them from looking to kill time in ways that harm the community.

9. This skate park will be suitable for all extreme sports, BMX'ing, skating and blading.

Adisham is a village located in the UK, in the county of Kent, located 6 miles away from the city of Canterbury and a few miles away from Bekesbourne. This website is a campaign to get a skate park in my village. I'm not talking a huge park, but enough so we can practice our sport. Please read on below for some good reasons why we should get a skatepark.
