Normal text is arranged in paragraphs using the P tag.
It starts a new block of text with a blank line above.
To start a new line within a block of text
use the linebreak, BR, tag.
This piece of text contains one part which is in bold and another part which is in italics. Some of it is underlined.
This block of text goes one step further by having combinations
of bold, italic and underline.
This can be achieved by nesting the tags so that two or more formatting
operations can be carried out.
This piece of text is centred.
Note that for the align ATTRIBUTE, the centre value is spelt CENTER.
The default alignment is left.

You can create hypertext links that take you from one part of a page to another.
This is particularly useful if you have a long page or a number of different sections in a page.
The process involves two steps:
In the code for this page you will see that a name ("TOP") has been set just before the list of excercises.
Back to Excersise 5 You can create hypertext links that send the visitors to another page on your site.
This is done by using the anchor tag and the HREF attribute.
The HREF attribute takes as a value the name of that file.
For example if you wanted to get visitors to go to your Index page you would write:
If you would like to receive e-mail from people who read your page do the following:
Use the anchor tag and the HREF attribute
write "mailto:and the email address" inside inverted commas as the value for the reference
Example: if you wanted your visitors to send you an email you would type:
E mail me at: marypanayiotou@hotmail.com
