Preview of Changi Airport's Terminal 3
Photography by Phillip Tan, Singapore

Webpage created on the humble Notepad.

Hi there! This is Phill. I can only hope that these humble pictures will give you a feel of how grand and beautiful the new Terminal 3 is. Personally, I'm awe-struck by the design and look of the place. As you stand there under the impressive Green Wall, only one word will go through your head: "Wow...."

So, I hope you enjoy the pictures. (", )

As you proceed past the Immigration counters, you meet the Green Wall. Ok, altogether now: "Wow..."

I can hardly begin to imagine the amount of work that went into this.

And it goes on for 300 metres... and those tall palm trees. (I'm at the airport??)

Looking up is bad for the neck but it's so impressive.

The view from the escalator up to Level 3 shows how wide the wall is.

Every few minutes, a section of the wall gets misted.

A close up of the flowering vines.

More blooms...

After all that greenery, this shot seems a little boring, ain't it?

This is the Disappointment that is also known as the Viewing Mall. I wanna see planes, not shades!

And what's a visit to the airport without some plane-spotting?
Singapore Airlines' Boeing B777-212ER (9V-SQG) with the revised livery rolls in with full thrust reversers.

A brand new Airbus A330-302 (B-18317) of China Airlines taxiing to its gate.

The two planes crossing each other.

Known fondly as "The Queen of the Skies", a Boeing B747-412 (9V-SPI) of Singapore Airlines lands on Runway 20R.

Qatar Airways' Airbus A330-203 (A7-AFM) rolls along Taxiway Whiskey-Papa.

A common sight at Changi... Garuda Indonesia's Boeing B737-3U3 (PK-GGR).

A very long and slender Boeing B777-31H (A6-EMO) of Emirates Airlines arrives after a long flight.

Philippines Airlines' Airbus A320-214 (RP-C3231) departs on a shallow climb.

And before I leave, a shot of the iconic Changi Tower.
