| We provide arguably one of the best model plane kits, however X fire is not designed for the first time pilot and we recommend that you have some experience before you try to fly this plane. Having said that, when powered with a 'cooking' 600 motor, I believe it makes a good first aileron trainer. It can then be fitted with upgraded motors - Race 600, Cobalt 05 or brushless - as your skills improve. My current X-fire is run on an Irvine Cobalt 05 (6turn) motor, with 7.5 x 4 CAM folding prop, running off 8 x 1700CP cells, and gives me 'sports car' like performance. Jeff, (my demo pilot) runs his with a Jeti 15/4 brushless, turning a 9 x 5 CAM folder from either 8 or 10 x 1700CP cells. The performance is blistering, and duration is much better owing to the efficiency of the brushless system.
