On Saturday, I went into Newark to skate with the ECX and SWITCH kids, I hit up Medlab with them and then met up with Aaron, Jimmy Harb., Dave G., and Mike Devivo at Switch. We went to Newark shopping center, got a lot of tricks on film, and then hit up Hudson. It was a great day of skating. After all that, we skated Justin's stuff, GREAT rail and kickker, REAL good. A lot of footage gotten, 2 tricks closer to my video part... haha. Skate's up! (3/10/03) ~Tommy

Mike has been back in action nowadays, and all is good. Aaron and Kev have LAX season going on, so the thought it that we won't be seeing much of them around, on a board. Mike G. got a new car, a MazdaSpeed Protege Turbo.... rock on. We have been getting some small accumulation of footage over the past week, if you want some, IM me at Biophlame, or just wait until the new website is up and running. Smile's Up! (3/8/03) ~Tommy

This is tight!!!! ~Mike G.

The Kinetic-Boomers Contest was MARVELOUS! It was so much fun! I def. want to thank Jeff and Kimber for coming and watching and cheering on. That was rad. I entered Advanced and got 4th place..... hahahaha. Rock on. (3/2/03) ~Tommy

The Boomers Contest is today. I talked to Willy earlier and he told me that he is one of the judges. That's super rad. Well, Kinetic is hosting the contest and so it should be pretty rad. Skate's Up! (3/2/03) ~Tommy

The contest was GREAT! It was so big, 44 people in Intermediate and 40 in Advanced. Aaron got 15th, he enterd Intermediate. He had a pretty sick run, for footage of the contest, IM Aaron at Independent105 or IM me at Biophlame. I.... on the other hand got 33, I enterd Advanced. I don't know why, but for somereason, everything I landed everytime in practice... didn't come up for me when it was my turn up. Haha, but it was all a lot of fun. Everyone was there that I havn't seen in a while, Ronnie Gordan, Willy Akers, Andrew Cannon, Fernando, Mark, ...etc, etc. Willy won best trick, he killed the humongus hubba with a nosegrind and a noseblunt down it. Glenn Pratt won the Advanced section. I've got one tip for some of the skaters at the competition.... it's not in what you can do that counts, it's what you DO do. Anyway, props to everyone, it was a great contest. Dont' forget the Boomers Contest this Sunday, march 2nd and the Drop-In Contest in NY the SAT after. Skate's up (2/23/03) ~Tommy

Aaron, David Gallagher, and I went to Boarderline Skatepark today to practice for the contest tomorrow. Aaron and I both have our lines down pat! The contest tomroro is going to be SO rad! On our way home, we were all dancing to the music with the windows down and some guy in a BEAT car just flicks us off! So we start messing around and he just follows us! ALL the way from West Chester!!!! he follows us to the intersection in Brackenvilel Rd! It was THE FUNNIEST thing ever!!! now where is my vidcam...? lol. Ok, well sleep's up for tonight and skate's up for tomrorow. SMILE! (2/22/03) ~Tommy

No school for the rest of the week! Rock on! (2/19/03) ~~Tommy

2/13/03 : Happy Valentine's Day. The cold weather has been getting to everyone lately. I've just been able to skate my box everyday and that's about it, no street spots, no skateparks. And more snow this weekend? Enough of this, bring on the SPRING. At dinner tonight, I came up with a marvelous idea! When I grow up and have my own house/family, I want the kitchen floor to be made of all my old boards. Wouldn't that be so great? To wake up, walk into the kitchen, and see all my old boards since I've been growing up skating. I'm so syched! Everybody remember, Boarderline Skate Contest Feb 23rd. Skate's up. ~~Tommy

2/7/03 : I've been skating a lot lately. Lot's of mini vidclips. But, I'll put them up later. Snow... snow..... *snow* ... Smile. ~~Tommy

2/2/03 : Skated DT Wilmington with Willy, Bubba, and David (don't know his last name). It was rad, we didn't get kicked out of Rodney Square or the new Courthouse. The new Courthouse has some SUPERSMOOTH marble ledges, really nice. I did my first handrail back from injury today by Fletcher. The little black handrail down 5. I had a lot of fun today. Alex Rosenfield is doing graphics for Foundation Skateboard Super CO. and another skate company that is coming up. Look out for those graphics, they should be really good because Alex is an AMAZING artist. ~~Tommy

2/1/03 : Aaron, Al, and I went to Boarderline Skatepark today. It is by far, one of, if not THE BEST skatepark in this area. Fernando and Mark DelNegro was there, Tyler Okie (Lakai), Bam Margera (Adio,Element,Destructo..etc), Josh Kalis (Seek, DC..etc), Kemblesville locals, and other skaters where there. That place is SO gnar! The Euro gap is HUGE! We skated from 3-9pm. You can check out the site at www.blskate.com. That's where the contest on Feb. 23rd will be at. The park is perfect. Precision made ramps, to the point, perfect. That place rips!Skate's up 100%! ~~Tommy

2/1/03 : Happy Chinese New Year. Last night, I went with Fernando and Mark Del Negro to 360 Skatespot from 6-10pm. It was nice, some friends I havn't seen in a while were there. John Viebahman (ZooYork) ripped it up, Mark (Popwar) ripped it up, everyone ripped it up! I've relearned some tricks, getting the 5050 mental block out of my head. Fernando actually skates FOR 360 Skatespot.. which I had no idea until yesterday. That's super rad. And SION Video (Fernando's Video Company) is blowing up. Their editing footage is really good. I might be able to post somethings up later on, when the new site is up. And the WHABOS video is coming along VERY slowly because no one skates at the moment. For everyone that thinks Mike G. has quit skateboarding, he hasn't. So don't believe those "rumors". He'll be back, I'll put my word on that. Skates up! ~~Tommy

1/29/03 : There's a skate contest coming up at the new West Chester park, Boarderline Skatepark. Details: Sunday, Feburary 23rd. Registration is from 9-11am. You can check out http://sk8ramp.com/contest_2-23-03.htm or www.blskate.com for more info/pics. ~Tommy

1/29/03 : Willy and I hit up some skate spots last night. Willy did this supergnar mulch-stonerock-mulch-street gap. And we also skated a tennis court by Kirkwood Hwwy with a box/ledge thing that was stolen from the police station next door. We got some footage, I might put it up, or I might just save it for later. I NEED to get the new site up, I'm runing out of space on Angelfire! Skate's up! ~~Tommy

1/26/03 : I went to the new Moorestown Skatepark in NJ today with Mike Danko and Sean Suvie. It's a really nice place, the whole set up is REALLY good. It's a hard place to find though, almost in the boondocks, and make sure you have a helmet. You NEED a helmet, or else you won't be allowed to skate, even though it's a free park, there is someone that supervises it. What a nice volunteer? Yeah, someone should go beat that lady up so we can skate without helmets. We went and the rumor was that it's free and no pads, so we figured, no pads = no helmets, but we were very wrong. So we spent about all afternoon on and off skating borrowing helmets from the semi-nice locals. It wasn't too bad, my knee started hurting a LOT and has reswelled, but I can't wait to go back. Check it out at www.skatespots.com. Skate's up! ~Tommy

1/20/03 : I'm really lazy. New total setup soon...whenever Marina can help out. Belied' dat dis time, da site will be pimpin! -Tommy

1/1/03 : Happy New Year!

12/30/02 : Updating here and there, new layout to come soon.

Happy Birthday David Grube! Toodle Loo! (12/29/02)

Happy Birthday Ryan Huber! Cheers! (12/28/02)

This site is moving. It will now be with Ion-Hosting. This move enables us to have 5000 MB, unlike Angelfire's 20 MB. The new site will be www.whabos.ionhosting.com, but I will relink the www.whabos.cjb.net to that site, so you do not have to worry about typing in anything else other than www.whabos.cjb.net. It is at the moment under total reconstruction, check back here for updates for now. Thank you and Merry Christmas! (12/25/02) ~Tommy

Sorry, I am in North Carolina at the moment, but apparently I hear that DE is having a White Christmas. VERY rad. Enjoi the holiday! Merry Christmas! (12/24/02) ~Tommy

Ho Ho Ho! Have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a super HAPPY NEW YEAR! and to ALL an AW-full-less goodnight! (12/23/02) ~Tommy

I just got back from my doctor's appointment. My knee will take a little over a month to heal, and it WILL heal. I don't need surgery... unless I bend it. If I bend my knee, I can break the kneecap at where it is cracked... and that can be REAL bad. I go back to the doctor on Jan. 13th, 2003, so we'll see. As for now, I can't skate for a LONG time... Can you say "POOPYBUTTOCKS!" (12/20/02) ~Tommy

Todd Kitchen and I went to get some free McFlurry's from McDonald's with some coupons he had, and then went to check out a new spot he had found. This new spot...let's just call it, Lime-Hall Spot for now. Well this spot is "pissin"! It's got numerous amounts of double sets of 4's, and even a triple set of 3. It's all do-able. And get this; There is a 11 stair handrail there! SuperGNAR! Can't wait till I can skate again! Footy galore! By the way, I put up a rough copy of the Whabos Winter Promo in the "Movies" section, check it out, I know it's real shady, it's cuz I used Windows Movie Maker. When I get Premere or something better, It'll be better vid quality. have fun. (12/18/02) ~Tommy

I just got back from the orthopedist. I have a cracked left knee cap and had internal bleeding. My knee was drained, taking over 65 m of blood/fluid out of it. That was... quite painful. I should have vidcam'd it! At first, it didn't feel bad, I even laughed when I saw all that blood, but then it clotted for a second and the doctor had to unclot it and push the swelling in my knee, that's when it started hurting. I now have to wear this superugly leg splint/brace around, it doesn't let me bend my knee at all! Well, the EST heal time is 1 month. One month of not skating.. that hurts more than when I fell. But I go back on Thursday to meet with Mr. Hershey (my orthopedist), and maybe I'll be able to skate soon, maybe next week! ALL SMILE'S UP! :-) (12/16/02) ~Tommy

The new videoclips are too big to put on Angelfire, sorry, for now, if you would like to see them, AIM me at Biophlame and I will send it to you thru that. (12/16/02) ~Tommy

I went to the Christiana Health Center today and got some X-rays. I have to go back later today at 3:30 to talk to a guy named Mr. Hershey, my orthopedist, to check out my knee. Quote from my doctor, Dr. Fletcher, : "Wow, that is quite some swelling. You may need to get your knee drained." Hahaha, I had to keep myself from laughing when he said that. Oh yeah, let's quote the school nurse now, "I've seen all kinds of injured knees and yours is by far the worst. The swelling is ridiculous!" LOL, I laughed at her when she said that, she didn't understand why I laughed... I don't know why either, it struck me funny. I'm going to put up the clips of my attempt on 5050 the Hockessin 7, check it out later today. And I'll be back on the "conditions" of my knee. Haha, 12:43 pm. (12/16/02)~Tommy

I fell on my left knee today. I want to thank Aaron and Alex very much for helping me out. Thanks again! I appreciate it SO much. Thanksfor being there! (12/15/02) ~Tommy Zhao

The Zero video is slammin'! VERY MUCH SO good. "And I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more to be the man who walks 1000 miles to fall at your door." Skate, skate, skate, skate, skate. (12/15/02) ~Tommy

Todd Kitchen chipped his elbow and broke his... femur or tenia? I'll get back to you on that. But apparently at Boomers this past Sunday, he busted it doing something..I find that out too. Ouch, I hope you have a quick come back Todd. Toodle loo! (12/10/02) ~Tommy

I redid the Boomers Clip, now it has sound, but this time I used a diff. program and the video quality is not as good, sorry. But check it out, I added a few extra's too. Don't forget, the demo this Saturday is from 11-4pm at the Frawley Stadium, Skate's up! (12/9/02) ~Tommy

Harvey, Aaron, and I went to Boomers last night. It was a nice session, you can check out some highlight's in the MOVIES section with a clip I made this morning. I havn't yet figured out how to use the software (Pixela) so there isn't any sound, but it's still some rad footage. (12/8/02) ~Tommy

The demo tomorrow is canceled and rescheduled for Dec. 14th, next Saturday, same time, same place. I got a new vidcam, Sony TRV 240, Dig. 8. Look out!(12/6/02) ~~-~~Tommy

Good skater and even greater friend, Mike Grant, got into an accident today by Lantana Square. He hit a lady and rolled her car. Not too pretty. No one was hurt, the lady was sent to a hospital for checkup. Mike is ok. I don't know what else to say, you scared me there Mike, I'm glad no one got hurt. Don't forget, people there will be a meteor shower tonight at 11:30, and 5:30 a.m. I know one wish I'll be wishing. (11/18/02) ~Tommy Zhao

IF ANYBODY needs a board, PLEASE get in touch with me. I just bought a brand new Santa Cruz board yesterday for $52 from Kinetic. It is a 7.4 x 30.9. I need to sell it soon, BEFORE the contest so I can get a new deck FOR the contest coming up. Please! I want about $48 for it..maybe less, I've only used it for 2 hours, and I don't like it. IM me at Biophlame or email me at razerbeast@hotmail.com! Hurry! (11/18/02) ~Tommy

Mike Grant did the infamous Lantana Gap! For those of you that have seen it, it is SO big! Mad props Mike! (11/7/02) ~Tommy

Good job Glenn on 13th place in Sponsor Division at Beast of the East! Cheers! (11/7/02) ~Tommy

Sorry, due to Angelfire rrules and regulations, we violated them by having more than one membership, and so they totally deleted space/whabos2 which had many pics including Mike's and Aaron's. It also included the video clips from the Wilmington Skatepark petition demo, sorry. We will try to put everything back up as soon as possible. (11/1/02) ~Tommy

FDR is the BOMBdiggity!! Zak and I went up there at around noon and it wasn't crowded at all. Later on in the day the kids from Richmond, VA that we skated with a month or so ago were there, and then the whole ECX team came up a little later. It was so rad, Zak kflipd the hip of the quadpyramid, and no words can describe how awesome it was to pump, carve at full speed everywhere. We are def. going up there again soon! Skate's up! (10/27/02) ~Tommy

Mike G., Mike Chan, Matt W., and ME skated Kemby's today. It was cool, Mike Chan had never been to a park before, he's learning that's for sure. Mike G. is learning switch blunts, and I am ....skating! (10/22/02) ~T

The demo was vonderful! When we first got there, it was so crowded, it was hard to get a run on anything, especially the flatbar/aframe setup. But after a while, it got a lot better. There was a 5ft miniramp there, very nice, a lot of boxes, an aframe with flatbar, 2 tiny 1/4pipes, more rails and a mini barrier. The whole point of this demo was to support the new skatepark, which looks F*n awesome! Period. And from the way it looked yesterday, there were def. over 200 people there. It was cool to see all the little kids falling then getting back up and going at it again. A friend of ours got some footage of the demo, we will post it up.. if possible, so look out for it. Skate's up! (10/20/02) ~T

More pics are up of Mike and one of Aaron. Check them out in their profiles. (10/20/02) ~Tommy

Happy Birthday Kevin Burns! Mike and I skated Kemby's today, we put the picnic table on top of the pyramid, it was superrad, gotta go back with the vidcam. PSAT's are tomorrow morning, don't forget, all you testers!(10/18/02) ~Tommy

Great session today! It was only Mike G., Mark D. Negro, Fernando, Bubba and me. We started out at St. Anthony's but there were kids playing outside so we left to check out this gnar planter gap at a new car dealership. Mike and Chipper both ollied it....I semilanded it (both hands). Giggle. Got kicked out, we went back to St. Anthony's and as we were walking, with skateboards in hand, an old guy immediatley comes out and tells a lady to call the cops on us. That is so unrad. We then check out the Booby Banks, skated there for a couple minutes and then went to the marble 10. Mike ollied them like nothing, and then went on to ollie over a marble block down a drop. The tricky thing is that there are marble cylinder things just there waiting to take anyone out. We checked out a shady 12 stair handrail and then saw a gap to 4stair. Some small thing to warm up on. We went to Ursuline after that, and the major session was on. Chipper almost, could've, would've frontside board the ten. It took me a lot of run-ups, and then finally tres tries to land. MIKE! Now, mike was SO close to getting it. He almost...wrecked on his first try towards the bottom of the rail. Got back up and gave it asecond go. Let me tell you, that was not a pretty sight, he had his feet on the board, but off to the side, so the boards flipped around, smacking him in his left hand and then both his hands smacked the ground. I swear I saw his ankle hit the ground hard as well, but he got up and said only his hand was hurting. But, like I said, we stopped at Arby's on the way home, and he was limping a tad bit...then stops because he doesn't want his dad to know he is a little beaten. Hardcore. "First try w/camera, next time." said Mike. Skate's up! Oh yeah, check out monsterskate.com for SUPERBLOWOUT SALE, everything is so cheap. Get some before everything's gone! (10/17/02) ~Tommy

Yesterday, a bunch of people were up at the Prices Corner/ACME area; Mark Del Negro, Fernando, Mike Grant, David Gallagher, Derrick Noel, Sean Suvie, Nick Z., me and then some kids that I had not skated before with. I 5050d the 7 again, 2 times = skill, 1 time can be luck. It was rad, a lot of good stuff went down. Mark is really consistent on all his tricks. Oh yeah, if anyone rememberes, we skated with a group of kids from Virginia, and a couple of them were sponsored by Dominion Skateboards. Well, I found their site, and it's really good, check out their "commercials", they are supergnar. www.dominionskateboards.com. It's going to be a beautiful day tomorrow! (10/16/02)~Tommy

Had another one of those Lantana sessions again. It was rad. There is a railroad tie down a curb-mulch-curb gap and also a newspaper stand to do tricks over. We got pics, check them out in Mike and Aaron's profile, as soon as my battery recharges, they'll be up. (10/14/02) ~T

Derrick, Sean S. and I first started off the day at the 6stair at the Police Station on Kirkwood. It's got a gnarly crack at the landing, so I only ollied it. And then we went to check out sets of 7handrails at Sears.... a couple are very low, but nothing was pulled down there today. Off to the Sears Gap we went! I've heard a lot about it and it's quite large. It's bigger than what I had in mind. I only ollied it, maybe I'll go back and do something else. Dave G. showed up and we went to hit up the Acme 7stair handrail. Sean, Derrick and I all boardslid it, Dave G. could have.. but he didn't. GO BACK AND DO IT, Dave!! But!, he pulled off the trick of the day! He kickflip manualed this like 45-50ft sidewalk to shuvit out. It was ridiculous! Mad props. Zak Walsh and Hugh Horner came around and we went back to the 7stair handrail. I 5050d it and then after numerous attempts at 5050ing it, Derrick just 5-0d it first try. BAM. That was superrad. Dave G. pop shuvited a 3stair and over a sidewalk to teh street. Gggnar! Then we checked out a roof gap, but no one tried it. I got a ride home with Zak W. But.. on the way home, somethign went wrong and his car seemed to have "broke". I want to Thank Kevin Iaconi for giving me a ride home and I hope all goes well with Zak's car. Thanks! (10/13/02) ~Tommy

It started clearing up later on in the day. I met up with Kevin and Bubba at Wawa. We went around Hockessin....there isn't much to skate around here. On the way back, some kids (Harvey, Jimmy F., and some other little kids) were skating at the FireStation. Mike G. and Aaron came around and we went to skate a little rail at JImmy F.'s house. It was cool. Everyone went their way at around 3, me and bubba sat around watching skate videos for a while. This is a really cool link to check out, http://explore-delaware.cjb.net/. It's about kids exploring abandoned places around this area... odd yet interesting. Check it out! (10/12/02) ~T

Before anyone hops into their car and heads over to the Frawley Staduim...Don't. It is canceled due to the rain and postponed to next Sunday (oct.20) from 12-4pm, at the same place. (10/12/02) ~T

Like I said, I always miss all this superrad stuff while at work. There was a WHOLE bunch of people at Bommers tonight. The Kinetic team, Bubba, Kalean Bird, Mike Grant, Mike Shanke, Joey G., Brenden O'Malley, Jared, John Gunther and some other rippers. With that kind of vibe at Boomers, who knows what went down. I'll hear from Mike in the morning. Damn damn damn, I am going to quit my job soon, I've been missing out on way too many skatejams! Bytheway, check out the NKSK crew at www.nksk.tk! (10/11/02) ~Tommy

Last night, Aaron, Dave Galligher, Justin Stewart and Mike G. went to Boomers. Fernando and Mark D. Negro were there. Mike's first run, no warmup, nothing. Drop in, f/s b/s bigger flatbar, 5050stall, ollie top, 5050 stall, (soemthign I forget), 5050stall, then kflip top. Amazing. Aaron learned some new tricks last night like backside nosegrind to krook. Rad, rad. And Fernando backsidelip the bigger rail. I, on the other hand had to spend my night bussing tables. (10/11/02) ~T

Start off the day with 2 sliced of pumpkin-cheesecake. Watch Willy Akers in Interstate, then Mike and I go meet Aaron at Switch. Aaron departs after dropping off Mike's trucks (thanks to Joe Giordano), and Mike's old broken board. Mike buys a new board, FLIP, get's it all put together (thanks to the guys at Switch for hooking him up with some wheels, and a couple bearings and hardware.) Then we head over to an empty garage on kirkwood hwy to skate. When we get there, Willy A.,Bubba A., Mike Danko, Sean Suvie, and Derrick N. were already there. They had set up a ramp to a barrier, and there were 2 rails. It was superrad. Ray Akers and his friends came by later as well. A bunch of stuff went down, too much to list, but it was a blast. It was such a great vibe. There is a Sk8ramp.com event going on this Saturday from 12-4pm at the Frawley Stadium in Wilmington. Check out www.sk8ramp.com and click on EVENTS for more info. Skate's up! (10/10/02) ~Tommy

Ursuline...prepare, because soon, soon, the time will come. (10/9/02) ~Tommy

Yesterday, Mike and I skated my kicker for a little. Got some pics, you can check them out in Mike's profile. Today, we went up to Brenden O'malley/Jared's ramps in Hockessin Hunt, and skated those. Mike started launching the 1/4 pipe and was getting 3-4ft OVER the highway barriercone. Aaron backside nosegrinded the whole box with no touch. (nod, nod that's what it's all about.) Scott R. and his friend Dustin came around for a little as well. That was rad, I hadn't seen them in a while. Mike broke his board again. Anyone that would like to sponsor Mike, please contact him at : AOL - Volcomikey or thru email, volcomikey@hotmail.com. He deserves one! PSAT's are on Sept. 14th! Very close. (10/8/02) ~Tommy

I've been meaning to put this up for a while now, but just havn't had the chance. This is a little something I got in my email a couple years ago. It's pretty rad. Check it out. Personality By Months (10/7/02) ~Tommy

Everyone was over Sean Suvies house, skate jam today. It was superrad. Derrick, Danko, Dave Galliger, Bubba A., Mike Gr., Aaron Z., and some other homys. We all went up to Ursuline and skated around there. Sean S. did the 7 handrail and so did Mike G. Bubba and Mike ollied the 10, and I kept looking at the handrail. It is still there and still calling my name, real loud this time. Time for sleep. (10/5/02) ~tommy

Micheal Murray, a very good and longtime friend of mine, I just found out had surgery yesterday. I was blown away, he never said anything to anyone about it! Get well soon Mike!! (10/4/02) ~Tommy Zhao

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKEY!! We are no longer going to 360Skatespot this weekend. It's been canceled. Mike got a new board on Wed., A.W. It's red and rad. A.I.'s first dance, BootyFest is tonight. Sean Suvie's birthday SkateJam is tomorow, it should be superfun. Skate's up! (10/4/02) ~Tommy

If you are Visitor #2000, Sign the guestbook!

We had an awesome session at Kembys yesterday. Most of the locals left after a while, and it was left with some good skaters. Mike was rippin the mini, and I'm learning. I also learned how to do backside indys on the hip, while Mike 5-0d and almost smithed and nollietailed the subbox on the medi to bank. We might be going to 360skatespot with Fernando and Mark Del Negro this weekend. That'll be superrad. (10/1/02) ~T

Met up with Derrick and Sean at the old Switch and then hit up Sanford. Little Nicky (switch), met up with us and then came along, harveydanger, aaron, and david g. After Sanford, rendevouz with Kevin burns at Wawa and we all went up to the Morman Church. We got kicked out immediatley, but there was a free garage sale across the street, Kevin got numchucks! Him and Aaron also took some rolling/rocking padded seats, and Sean got a mega big picture of some dude's face. From the Morman Church, we went to the Ursuline 7stair, Dave popshuvd it, me and derrick b/s it again. Aaron really wants to do a handrail really bad! At ursuline, there were a group of kids from Virginia, up for the weekend, and so they came around with us as well. We went to A.I. and everyone ruled it. Those kids were good, and they also had a gnarly camera with a really huge fisheye. I got footage on a nosegrind down a table set down the stairs. I love their camera! I also heard that the TomPenny dude nolliefliped off the loading dock, rad, rad. Mike G. also pulled up and was tearing it up. He b/s the 5stair handrail and almost feebled it as well. We left A.I. a little dirty.. but it was fun fun fun! (9/29/02) ~tommy

Aaron, Harvey, Jimmy F., David G., Nick (dontknowlastname), Mike G., Derrick N., Sean S. and me went skating around Wilmington/elsmere. There is so much awesome stuff. Dave switch 180d a 7, I b/s the handrail whil Derrick backside and frontside b/s the handrail. And once Mike G. is allowed to skate again, we are going to do the tenstair handrail at ursulin. Dave G. and me ollied them. There is so much stuff to skate in the wilmington area. Aaron also got a new board, Habitat. (9/28/02) ~tommy

Thank you oh so very much Mr. Rain for leaving a beutiful Saturday for us to skate! Matt Appleby is in town over the weekend, (today and tomroow). Good weather came in just in time. Skate's up! (9/28/02) ~T

Hello Mr. Rain. Will you please cut back on the downpour because this rain is not allowing us to skate! Please! I will greatly appreciate it! Oh, you will! Thanks so much!! (9/27/02) ~T

WWW.THREE16.COM , I got 7th place in Advanced out of 11. Justin got 42nd/43rd in Beginner. Ouch. But we both had lotta funna. Today, whabos crew, Justin and his friend, Phil P., Steve, and Mike Negron all skated. Mike N. has a 1/4 pipe at his place so we pulled it out and go tsome awesome footy of Mike G. on it. He ripped it. Then we went to Steve's place and there is a church by his house. The church ruled! There is a 4stair, big set of LARGE steps, and a six stair with handrail on both sides. Mike and me both boardslid the handrail and Aaron came OH so close! I gave a bunch of shots at f/s b/sliding it but ...yeah something clicked and I messed up. Sorry about that. Session summary made short, we annihalated the church. 10 more days till Mike is allowed to skate, 10 more days till his birthday, 10 more days till Bootyfest. It's nice to see everyone skating again! (9/24/02)~``~Tommy

Yesterday was great! Justin and I skated from 7 am till 8pm. We went to the contest and the VANS skatepark is huge. Everything is so nice! Justin entered beginner and what he ranked is unknown yet becuase they only said the top 10 of each division. (so he didn't make top ten, but he had an excuse.) The thing was that he had been praticing the whole time on the other courses, not the main one, so when his run was up (1st), he said he was goign to do his run in the other course, but he was supposed to do it only in the main course, since he had never skated that course before, no run in his head, nothing, he went and winged it and didn't come out so great. But it was a good try! Yeah, so there was some confusion as to where the actual run was going to be held at, but it was rad. You can checkout www.three16.com for more stuff on the contest. I had a lot of fun, and came out with a 7th..:-( It was rad though, I knew a bunch of the sponsored kids there, since I've skated with them before. One kid, John ...(forgotlastname), sponsored by Zooyork, Epik fftware, and boardstiff was there. I had skated with him at Boomers a while ago, and it's amazing to see how good he's gotten. He kflip f/s boardslid the flatbar handrail. That blew me out. He's only 14. Last night, was the celebration of Aaron's 17th birthday. Yesterday, was a fabulous day. (9/22/02) ~Tommy

Three16 contest at the Vans Skatepark, Moorestown NJ today. I would also like to take the time to wish Aaron a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! G'day mates! (9/21/02) ~Tommy

Joe s.,aaron, harvey and me went up to A.I. to skate. Nothing big went down, I tried a couple tricks on the handrail but landed none. Then we went to Wilimington Christian and got kicked out for skating a 2step. Then, picked up Mike G. and off to Kembys we went. Skated there, I was terrible. I sucked, period. Glenn Pratt was there, and some bmxers from newark as well. The riders were pretty good, all in college attending UoD. Some guy there was tearing it up. Super good, and no sponsor. He had the smoothest style out of anyone that's been there. He def. deserves to be sponsored! Kemby's was crowded crazy today, so many ppl were there it was ridiculous. Fernando, beastly brazilian skater at A.I is going into Beast of the East this Sunday, I have a very good feeling he's gonna tear it up. As for me, I'm going to give it my all in the Three16 contest this Sat., but my skatepark skills haev been... downhill since today. Gurggle gurggle said my stomach. Skates up!(9/17/02) ~t

Joe's house was crowded yesterday. There was about 15 skaters all at his place, skating his ramps and his rail. We pulled the ramps out into the street and had a huge game of skate. Joe's team won. Glenn Pratt, sponsored by Henry's Bikes, one of the Kemblesville local's, won the Elkton contest last Sat. Prop's on that. He went up against the Switch and all the other Henry skaters. Don't forget, this week is Moorestown action. (9/17/02) ~tommy

Zak is getting good. Me and Joe G. and Zak went up to a spot in avondale, PA. I frontside boardslide the 4stair handrail there (1st one ever landed) :-). And Zak and i almost 5-0d it, but it's high and short and VERY sticky for grinds. Joe G. noseslid the handrail on the other side, next to a wall, really tricky, 3 times. That was rad. Across the street, there is a really really sticky ledge down 4 but it goes past it, so it's like a 6-8stairledge lengthwise. Well, Zak hauled ass fullspeed and 5050d the WHOLE thing. That was ridiculous! That was definetly the trick of the week, or even of the month! Skate's up. (9/15/02) ~Tommy

Dereck Noeo met justin and me at Switch today. We went filming around Newark. Dereck unfortunetly had a rolled ankle, so he couldn't skate at all, which is a real bummer because he is one supergnar skater. We hit up Medleb gap, the Pathmark shopping center, Hudson handrail, and newark shopping center. Seems like Switch doesn't even have a skate team really anymore. That's pretty sad since before Kinetic, EVERYONE was skating for Switch , Willy Akers, Bubba Akers, Brannon John, Kailen Bird, etc.. Dereck is skating for ECX at the moment, and I think everyone is quiting Henry's since Henry's isn't giving their teamskaters ANYTHING. That's pretty unrad. Skate's up, skate hard, skate for fun. :-) (9/14/02) ~Tommy

Ok. For more details on each of the contests coming up, I have finally found the websites for them. For the Beast of the East contest, go to www.unitedskate.com, all the info you need is on that website. You must understand that you must be a member of the United Skateboarding Association to enter the Beast of the East contest and that there are certain contests that you need to qualify off of to enter the final Beast of the East contest. and I've already listed the websites for the Three16 contest and the Elkton contest... going on today..right now. We had an oldschool back in the day skate session at Lantana today. The whole whabos crew, Joe g., and 2 other kids were there. It has been a while since we've had sessions at Lantana, now they even posted no skateboarding, rollerblading or bikign signs up. But we didn't get hassled by anyone. There was even an old cabinet in the back and we skated that up. pic's up real soon, sorry about delay. and Remember last year this day, about 3000 ppl died. Ponder that, and just... give your regards, cuz it's all respect. (9/11/02) ~Tommy

I went skating with Aaron,Alex, and Mike up in PA at a place right before Boomers. There are some rad gaps and drops and rails there. Across the street is a superwaxed yet super sticky ledge with a broken handrail. Yesterday we went skating at a kid in HItchen's farm with a couple ramps and a rail. It was a alrite session. But there is this new Brazilian kid that goes to A.I. Word is that he's freaking awesome. Kflip backside lips on h-rails and all this other gnar tricks. Can't wait to skate with him, he's staying with Mark Delnegro as an exchange student and might be up at the Van's contest on the 21st. Skate's up, like I said, it's good! (9/10/02) ~Tommy

Aaron, Joe S.,Justin St.,Joe G.,and i went into DT wilmington. First stop, Fletcher Brown, we skated the infamous ledge to rail for a little, I tried to b/s it but it is DEF. way harder than it looks. and it's superduper long. We got kicked out of Fletcher in about 5 minutes. Then we went to the Liposuction BoobyBanks. Aaron threeflipd 1st try, heelflipped and backside flipped them multiple times. Joe s. kflipd and almost switchflipd them. Joe G.,and me had a frontside flip contest. He won. Swelldone. Then we went to Ethan Allen, JJust 180d the 3, aaron just about ollied the hndrail, and I almost f/s b/s the handrail. We all went back to Joe S's and skated his stuff. Joe G. got krook to b/s's down pat. And everyone that has not or already have seen the recent Interstate video, go buy it or if you ahve it watch it again! Willy Akers if soo good, watch the video and I'm sure you'll agree with me. DE is ariseing! (9/8/02) ~T

Mike G., Aaron, Sean Suvie, and i skated boomers from 2-8:40pm. It was rad, Mike didn't skate really cuz of his arm, but it sure woulda been rad if he was allowed to. Joe S.,his bro, and Justin showed up around 3 and skated. Even Alex Milnamo came at 6 and skated, that was rad, I've never skated Boomers with Alex before. Joe hurt his knee again, that was really bad. But towards the end started skating again. That's pure dedication to skating.. ok skate's up. (9/7/02) ~Tommy

Sorry about not updating for a couple days. It's been a little busy with school and getting in some skating and work and can't forget the hmwk. I might be at Boomers tomrow from 3:30-9pm. Samantha's Cafe is up and running at full speed, go eat there! (9/6/02) ~Tommy

Oh, this just in! lol, Joe was skating that gap, and he got his board run over by some guy. That guy gave him 75$ and he didn't even crack his board. hahahahahaha! Lucky. Back to school sales at Kmart are krazy, those shoppers are crazy, the place is raided. (9/4/02) ~Tommy

Joe S., Justin S., and I went skating around the DT hockessin area. Joe heard that Harvest got torn up, and we checked it out and true true true, the curb is no longer metal edgeplated and the parking blocks are removed. We skated the PAL center 8stair and the manual pad for a couple hours. I split with them at aroun 5:15, and they went on to joes house. But they found this super gnar gap about 5 1/2ft long with a highway barriercone in it, and they told me that I shouldn't have left. Oh darn.. haha. We are going to hit it up tomrow. Oh, and I got the pics, they will be up real soon. Thank's Phil. And school started today for me, oh, i couldn't wait to get out. I had STUDYHALL long (4th lunch) on my first day back, how AWESOME is that huh? This is goign to be a prettay long school year. (9/4/02) ~Tommy

M.Danko,Ty W.,Justin W.,Joe. G. and I skated up Sanford yesterday. We skated there for a couple hours, getting footy doing gaps, drops, steps, sbumps, rails, Sanford has just about everything. While we were skating the 8, we met a pro lax player, #33 of the Philly Wings, and hes even hooking us up with free tickets to a game when season starts. Prettay Radday. It's cool how you can meet all these people thru skating at your usual spots and all. We all went back to Ty's, except for Justin, and since his neighbor Tom was having a partay, we raided it for food, drinks, and hmmade waterice, then got our skate on. School started for a bunch of ppl today, it's going to be back to 3hr skate sessions after school instead of the usual 6. Eighteen more days till the upcoming Van's contest at the Moorestown Mall. Can't wait for that. Skate on. (9/3/02) ~Tommy

Ty W.,Joe G., and I went to Boomers for the 1pm-5:30pm sessions. Glenn was there, Todd Kitchen was there, we were all rippin it. I was having a semi offday though, it was taking a couple tries to land some of my tricks, and I even slammed real hard to the ground causing me to ice my neck/shoulder area right now inorder for me to skate tomorow. But big skate session tomrow, Joe s. will be back in town, last day before SCHOOL starts for most ppl. I think the plan is to hit up Sanford around noon and then hit up Boomers from 3-9pm. It's going to be the tight diddly shizzy squat bobbery! Be there or be round. (9/1/02) ~Tommy Zhao the lil bowwow poseur

Phil Scarpone, Joe G., Dan Murray and I went up to Sanford today. We skated there for 3 hours. I tried the doubleset 5 handrail but the kink is VERY offthrowing. And I tried a couple kflips on the 8 but just left it for later. Joe G. frontsidefilpd the 5 but slipped his footing after landing it. tsk tsk. We found some new gapdrops, really nice. Being the smartkid that I am , i forgot to charge the vidcam battery so we were unable to get any footy, but we did get some pics, so they will be up as soon as possible.(8/31/02) ~T

Help out the local skaters! Also, check out my friend's site, www.hectiksc.cjb.net, it's coming very nicley. I'll be updating that and not only will it be me updating, but the whole bunch of skaters as well...(unliek this one..haha). Joe G. and I will be going out doing some shoots and getting footy, so if you want, call me up and come along., esp Phil Scarpone. Ok, well make sure to check out both those sites, Skate On. (8/30/02) -~- sEnOr tOMIy

Joe G. went to Boomers yesterday with some folks. I, on the other hand spent the WHOLE day shopping, from Switch..Wooden Wheels...MARSHALLS!.. to Boscovs. I didn't get home till 5:30! I got in a few secs of skating, not what I wanted. When will the rain cut out for a couple days?! (8/30/02) ~T

Justin S, Joe G,Joe S., and I went to the Boomers 3pm-9pm sessions and it was great! 6 hours of nonstop skating. Lil Nicky was there all night, and Brandon O mallery was there for the 3-6 session. Highlights were kickflip 5-0 and kickflip 5050 down the box down the aframe by some unknown guy. I think that was the only tricks he landed.. Justin b/s the whole rail, i learend a whole bunch of nollie tricks down the box, and me and nicky 180d bothways the boxs stackd upward. Joe s. got frontside disasters down and almost onefooted 5-0d the whole rail. joe g. wreckd pretty hard on a couple 180s over the bigger rail but came back towards the end with some nice b/s and huge frontside flips. We got some footy as well. Jimmy Collins (darkside S.C.) wants a WHABOS preview to put in his video by Friday(tomoro). That only gives me today to do it, I don't know if I can do it, esp since I don't have any dig. footy. Skates up. (8/29/02) ~Tomi

Joe, his bro's, Justin S., and I went to Boomers. Brandon omallery showed up and so did John Gunther, i havnt seen him since 8th grade. And a whole bunch of other Boomer locals were there. It was a great session. Joe will be leaving Thurs. for FL. (8/27/02)~t

Happy Birthday Tyler! (8/26/02) -T

Joe Shubb and Mr. Tommym z went skating all around tadayy. Started warming up at Harvest and Eric Selway's girlfriend's lil brother was there. It was cool. Then we met two bmxers from Middletown, talked to them about some spots, and we all split up and me and joe rounded up at Sanford school. both of us ollied it and i almost 180d it but kept slipping out. Joe wrecked extremely hard 3 times on his left knee, inside and outerside. but still came thru at the end. Footy is goody! There will be a new skateshop called Genesis opening up in Feb 2003. Look out for it! And superduper duper thanks to Joe for hooking me up. Oh, and this just in, all those cosmetic smellinggood ads and promo stuff like lotions and soap and stuff that you get in the mail, thro them away, because word on the street is that ppl have died from them cuz of poisonous stuff. rumor is that it's terrorist doing but not being said on news cuz then no panic then. so keep your noses up and away from those goodsmelling thingadings. thanks to caitlynfor keeping us safe! (8/25/02) -tomi

I just got back from vacation. I missed the Mountain Dew contest. Sorry Ty. There is still another contest on Sept. 21st. I'll be there or be square. Skates up! (8/24/02) ~T

Joe S.,Joe G., Brandon O'mallery,Mike (don't know last name),Joe's lil bros and I skated Boomers from 12pm-6pm. It was great! I havn't had so much fun since, since last night when I went skating with Joe S..Lil Nicky (sponsored by Switch) showed up towards the end, and got us all pumped up, and we just totally annihalated Boomers, especially the two Joe's. They are getting better every time i see them. Everyone is just getting better everyday.Skate on. (8/15/02) ~Tommy

Aaron, Harvey D., Kevin and I wen tto Boomers today. Aaron pulled off the run of the day, while Kevin did many kickflip rock and rolls. I can't remember if I pulled anything rad, btu I had lots and lots of fun! Interesting fact: some kid asked me for my autograph. of course I gave it to him. But he sure did make my day. Thanks bro. Skate on. (8/13/02) ~Tommy

For those of you competing in the MD contest on the 24th, be aware that only the first 30 in each division get to skate. It's limited, so get there early. You must go to www.mountaindew.com to print out some waivers and if you need directions, go to www.mapquest.com the address is 400 Route 38, Moorestown, NJ, 08057. Joe S., Ty Wr., and I are planning on being there. If anyone wants to talk to me personally, my AIM SN is Biophlame and my email is razerbeast@hotmail.com. Yesterday I just bought a new deck, an Enjoi. I've heard good stuff about them, so we'll see if they live up to the talk. (8/13/02) ~T

I went to Ocean City, MD today. The waves were hitting 7ft +. It was a lot of fun, I got rashed around a lot and I hit the ground at one point, doing a flip cuz I got on the wave too early, and hit my head on the sandground. :-) I also checked out the Cloudbreak Shop/Skatepark. Looks like a decent park, definetly fun-able. (8/11/02) ~T

Yesterday was probably one of the funnest and most amazing day this summer, but also one of the most tiring. I woke up at 6:30, and got to Dan Murray's house by 7:30. We waited for Ty W. to come over, and left for the X-games at around 8:15-8:30. We got there areound 9:30, and it was PACKED! Parking cost $10, and we still had to work about 4 blocks to City Hall. It was all worth it. The skater's, Chris Senn, Kerry Getz, Ricky Oyola, and 7 other pro's competed. Where did Koston go? He wasn't there. The pro's are so consistent, the course was very much so like last year's, but I heard it was more crowded this year. There were about 6 bleachers set up, we didn't get into any of them. I split up with Ty and Dan (they were mainly going for autographs), and went to find a spot to watch the skaters. Finally after like 2 hours, i get up to one of the fences. And i stand there for the whole day until 3. Turned out, Ty and Dan got most of the pro's autographs, and they coudn't find a spot to watch from, so they went to Love Park and chcked that place out. They found me right after the runs were over, and the Best Trick had started. Of course, they didn't have to wait to get up to the fence, since I was already up there, you know. But we got to see two of the best trick sessions, and left when the third one started because it was on the other side of the course and we couldn't see it, plus we didn't want to wait anymore, and I had to take a pee REAL bad! We went to Wendy's, and for $4 I got 2 burgers, frenchfries, and a salad. I should go to Wendy's more, it's cheaper, at least yesterday it was. I got home around 4:15pm. And got a slight haircut, took a shower, got ready for work, and then left for work at 5:10. I worked until 10pm and got $40 in tip only. What an awesome day! (8/11/02) ~Tommy

I'm leaving for the X-games in 30 minutes.(WHABOS reprezent in Philly, Woot Woot) I also have to work tonite at 6. Aaron went to the Warped Tour yesterday, and Mike got surgery. Mike should be up and about in around 6-8 weeks. Get well soon! (8/10/02) ~TomE

A very good friend of mine, Matthew Appleby, will be moving on Aug. 23rd to Bedford, Virginia. If anyone knows of the skate scene in VA, please email me at razerbeast@hotmail.com .

A lot of stuff is/will be going on. Ok, first off, X-Games Skateboard Street is going on this Sat. at West City Hall. And the Xgames will continue going on until the 19th. On the 24th, at the Vans Skatepark at the Moorestown Mall in NJ, MountainDew Free Flow Tour is going there, and the top three skaters get flow sponsorship from MountainDew. You can count on me being there! For more info check out www.mountaindew.com or www.vans.com ON Sept. 21st, there is another contest at the Moorestown mall. The 3rd and last contest of the Three16 contest circuit will be going on. For more info check www.three16.com. From what I know, it costs $15 to register the Three16 contest, and $5 for the MD jam. May the force be with everyone, esp. Mike G., he goes in for surgery tomorow. (8/8/02) ~Tommy

Zach Walsh and I went to Boomers night session tonight. It was loads of fun. 3 awesome skaters came too. I can't remmeber any of their names, but one of them is sponsored by Zooyork, board stiff, and some shoe company. He was ripping it. It probably took me almost 20 tries to smith the rail on the larger a-frame...pathetic. Tyler Wright and Dan Murray also showed up. Everyone ripped it up! Too much stuff went on to just right down. You shoulda been there. Period. (8/7/02) ~Tommy

Today was such a beautiful day! I'd say the most beautifulest day all summer. It wasn't hot, defintly wasn't cold, alittle breeze, sooo nice. Tyler Wright and I skated Boomers all day. It was really nice, since it wasn't crowded at all. During the second session, Mike Danko and Phil Scarpone showed up. Mike's sponsored by ECX (newport skateshop). Well, me and ty only paid for the first session, but we got to skate the second one for free. I am so tired, I can barely get up. Oh, take this for thought, a good friend of mine, Scott Rosenfield, RODE his bike to Newyork. he RODE his bike to newyork! for a leftover crack concert. That is so rediculously far! I have so much respect for Scott, even more than before. Remember, X-games start this saturday. Don't miss it! Enjoi it while you can, next yaer it's going international. (8/602) ~Tommy

HeyHey. Well, the Newport contest went on yesterday. Props to Joe Shubb who went there with no practice or nothing and got 4th place in Intermediate. Tyler Wright got 3rd place in Intermediate, thumbs up mate. Aaron, Mike, and I went and skated Kemby's all afternoon. I now have an awesome digi. camera so be on the look out for pics galore! Once again, good job to Joe and Ty for their placing in the contest. Also, Joe noseslid his first handrail down at the beach. Hip hip horray. (8/4/02) ~Tommy

There is a contest at Newport Skatepark tomorow. I know that Tyler Wright is competing in it, and I'll bet I know some other ppl that will be there. I don't think any of us will be competing in it, I know Kevin is working, and I doubt Aaron or Mike will want to enter. As most of you know, Mike had a compound fracture last year at the Newport contest doing a gap. He had to go under the knife to have screws put in, and he will be going under the knife again this month to take them out. I want to compete, but at the moment, I have a flat piece of plywood as my board... and no money. Samantha's Cafe jsut reopened, so all you rich folks, go and eat there! (8/2/02) -Tommy

All Eyes gotta say is SLAM TomE's Slam off a huge roof drop.,.,followed by me landing it!Mike Landing da roof. Footage thanks to Jimmy Collins http://darksidesk8crew.cjb.net (7/29/02) - Mikey

Waking up at 5:51 a.m. doesn't leave much to do so early in the morning. So I decided to update the page a bit. Yesterday, Aaron, Alex, Mike, Issac Z. (aaron's lil bro), KT, and I went to Kahunaville to skate. David G. and some other skater's that I don't know the names of were already there, and when the session ended at 4, we went off to Kemby's. And when we got there, Kevin was arriving as well, yippe e i o e. I finally boardslid the pyramid ledge thing, I've been trying it for quite sometime. David G. manualed for like a mile down a hill next to the park. Mike landed 2 kickflip indys on the Medi, one of which he caught darkside. Mike ended up breaking his kingpin on his indy at the end of the day. Oh, Mike drove behind us as Alex and I skated down the hill next to kemby's full spped. We hit top around 30mph. OH, and thanks to david for giving ALL of us free waterice. Bytheway, I'll be gone at the beach, Wildwood, NJ until the end of the week. And for that kid who filmed me and mike skating off the roof, PLEASE email us, we really want that footage.Thanks. (7/29/02) ~TomE

I am currently working on a product review section (www.angelfire.com/space/whabos/reviews.html). If anyone has reviews for it, send them to me at razerbeast@hotmail.com. (7/28/02) ~TomE

Woah, today, some fine fine skating was put down. First off, Aaron, Alex, Joe Shubb, Mike, and I went to the Kahunaville skate demo. Lol, that was a joke, over half the skaters there were .... undeserved to be sponsored, let's put it that way. Anyway, we saw Willy Akers there, Mike Shank, Derek Noeo (spelled incorectly sorry), and some other ppl that I recognized, knew. We got tired of just standing there watching, and headed out skating with David G., Matt ..., and some other people I don't know. But eventually led to a big crowd of skaters and chicks. We skated this one bump ramp, drop after ollie over highway guard thing, Mike ollied and then 180d the big hywy guard to a estimated 7-9ft drop afterwards. Then of course, Mike spots the roof next to it. Then attempts to skate off it. So he gives it one try, bails and it gets me all syched up. I climb up there and give it a try and WOW, first thing that pops into my mind after i hit the ground is "i got this." so me and mike keep doign it. everyone else just stops, sits down and just watches. lol. Thanks to the videographer, who filmed both of us. well, anyway, I tried it a couple, almost got one of them, one the last try today I kinda fell pretty hard on my hip, and I started shakign and trembling, so I just chilled and it started raining and I ddin't feel like "trying" it again. but end of this session, Mike landed it and it was put on film. The kids going to send it to us and it shoudl be up on the site in no time. So look out for that real soon. The rain fell harder and harder, (i got my board wet, and now its waterlogged), we ran off to inside the building and we warmed for a little, till the rain stopped. We went otu to see the skating and then we went off to Kemby's. Joe hadn't been to Kemby's before so he had to get used to the setup. Mike ruled it with some big airs and gnarly slides, Aaron ruled it as well, ALEx, alex o alex, he went whabos style today! he tried to boardslide the pyramid ledge thing!, tried to 180 down teh side of the pyramid, gnarly, gnarly, and he learned 180s on the 1/4 to bank and 1/4 to 1/4, and started learning airs on the Medi. Joe, busted it out with some backside and frontside 180s on the pyramid and even a 270 towards the end. Me, I don't seem to remember anything good that I did, but I was having a LOT of fun. Oh, kevin worked. Alrite, well I'm out for now, G'night. (7/27/02) ~Tommy

Woot Woot, Hollar yo! PARTAYING tonite baby, One more time, we gotta celebrate, all night-a tonit-a, we gonna celebrate oh yeah, ohhall night! one more time.... (7/27/02) ~T

Thanks to Dav. G. for hooking me up with the Willy Santos shoes, I really needed the skateshoes, and I thank you bunches. Me, Aaron, and Mike skated Kemby's today. Let me tell you, at some points, Mike amazed me like .... "wow!". I just sat down at this one point and just watched him skate. He has gotten so good since before he went to Miami. Highlights include almost boardsliding the WHOLE pyramid ledge box. Then to top that, he feebled it! That's when I sat down and just watched him skate. He also learned benihanas on the medi ramp and christ air's and stuff like that. I was definetly amazed at the level of skating he is at now, I am on my way to catching up, that feeble just blew me out there. Madd props and respect Mike. You deserve it. Tomorow is the xgames demo at Kahunaville, I'm thinking that since a bunch of pros will be in town, we shoudl go skate wilmington, esp. since Fletcher Brown was in the Toymachine and Flip video. So, I can bet that there will be some great skaters skating street. The demo starts from 4-8pm, don't miss it. Live music, food and drinks and giveaways! Rock on! And on Sunday, there is a free skate session from 12pm-4pm at Kahunaville, the park that the pro's skate on sat. can be skated by YOU on sunday! DEFINETLY don't miss that! Lot's of stuff going on, don't forget. (7/26/02) ~T

Yesterday, Aaron,Kev, Alex and I skated Kemby's all afternoon. Aaron bought a whole new complete from Switch and I think I'm about to get a new deck sometime VERY soon. Then we all went out to Charcoal Pit for dinner, I had a full rack of ribs, while everyone else had like little snacks of hamburgers. Our check ended up being $74!! Yeah, the tip was over $11, it was bullcrappers. Anyway, Mike Grant showed up towards the end, fresh off the plane from a month in Miami. Then we went skating at Skyline Middle, where Mike did the tall rail off flat! Less then 3 hours in DE back and he already kills the session. If it doesn't rain, we will be skating today. Oh! And info on the X-games, they will be going on from Aug. 10-19th. Good events/days to attend are: Sat. Aug. 10th, Skateboard Street at West Side of City Hall. Friday Aug. 16th - Bike Stunt Dirt Final, and Park & Vert & Flat practice. & Monday Aug 19th - Skateboard Street Practice. So if you can, go to those days, I went last year and you don't want to miss out. The X-games are so much fun! For more info on the X-games to go www.expn.com. Surf's Up mate! (7/26/02) ~TZ

Kevin, Daina, Rob Willis, and I went to the beach yesterday till today. We met Aaron and Harvey Danger, and later with Brendan Kenna and John Appleby. It was very much so fun evn though we didn't skate one bit. Oh, we also caught up with David Gallagher and his friend Matt, and also saw Mike Shank and a bunch other people. Belieed dat! Harvey's dad was way rad enough to let the whole crew crash at his house and he even made dinner and breakfast! So it was all jiffy lube. Also, soon I'll be adding a REVIEWS section full of product reviews (decks, trucks, wheels, videos..etc.)so look out for it! (7/23/02) ~Tommy

Yesterday, Matt Appleby and I went to Kemby's and then Harvest. It was really fun at Kembys yesterday since the only locals that were there were the good/decent kids (18+). We got kicked at Harvest about 5 minutes in. Oh, last night, word from Tyler Wright is that some kid named Scott in Hitchens Farm has basically a skatepark in his backyard. He has a Skatelite Miniramp, with rails, and kickers. So I'm going to check that out probably tomorow since today, I am going with Kevin to the beach. Right now it's 5:46am, and it's already light. Don't forget, Mike G. come back on Thursday from Miami! Full blown skate sessions to be happenning until he goes under the knife in August. Eeek! Bytheway, for those of you that cannot seem to be able to DL the videoclips off the site, search for them on Kazaa cuz yeah, I put them on Kazaa last night. Alrite, well that's it for now folks, ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba da da ba! (7/22/02) ~Tommy

Just got in from skating. Aaron, Tyler Wright, Harvey Danger, and I went to Kembly's today. I learned how to do indy's on the quarterpipe. We left after all the locals starting arriving and it started to get really unbearably hot. Then I got dropped off at Ty's house and we watched the New Deal video- 7 Year Glitch. It's pretty good, I recommend it. Then we went out and skated a couple gaps and put a rail down this one gap, I bluntslide it, lipslid it, boardslid it, and somethign elsed it. Yeah, we just annihalated it. Then as we were leaving it, Aaron and Harvey D. arrive and we skate it again. So it not only got annihalated, it got killed. Lol. It was a good skate session. Oh, on July 27, from 4pm-8pm at Kahunnaville, there is goign to be a prexgames event going on. It should be superrad. So put that on the calendar and don't forget. If anyone knows html on how to do pop ups, please email me. razerbeast@hotmail.com . Thanks (7/19/02) ~T

Mike is still in Miami for 7 more days. There was a demo at the new DT Miami skatepark and Willy Akers was there. Him and Mike caught up and exchanged numbers to skate when he gets back. That's pretty rad, from what I know Willy and Mike are basically childhood skate buds, back in the Newport days. On the topic of Newport, Kevin and I may be going there tomroow with a bunch of kids from the surrounding areas. Maybe we'll see you there. Cya mate. (7/18/02) ~Tom E

I just got back from the beach with Kevin. It rocked. You can read about our skatesession from Kev. under this update. Mike went to Ramp 48 again yesterday, i havn't talked to him since though, so I don't know what he pulled off. Oh!, me and kev got extrm. rashed up from the waves there from bodyboarding. and kev's skimboard already got ruined but we went back and got it exchanged for a new one. hahaha. So yeah now its time to go back to my hammer schedule. Surf's down. (7/16/02) ~tommy

hey me and tommy are down at the beach tearing up the waves and the street at the same time. i just got a new skim board so we have been pretty occuppied with that. Last night we had a "gnarly" skate session and we pretty much took over the whole town of Stone Harbor. it started with a great email from someone "special" and then i took that energy to the street. we hit up a pretty cool hip curb kinda thing. we both kickflipped it and tried numerous tricks on it. then we just "flowed" in this open lit parking lot that is full of some BIG plastic benches that are so slick it's unbelievable and then we finished up that by ollieing a huge flat gap thats probably 5 1/2 feet long and full of rocks. thats the biggest gap i've done in awhile and i was pretty pumped. we then just rode around and by that time it was about 10 and the town was closing up. it was a decent night that ended in a very happy note for me by chatting with someone on aol. thats all for now folks-kevin (7/15/02)

What is up with all the new skate shoes? They either look like freaking basketball shoes or they all look exactly the same. Don't catch my drift? Look in your latest Active or CCS mailorder catalog and tell me what you see. Notice that the Berra2(dvs),Getz(dvs),Bevel(emerica), Reynolds2(emerica), Kennyv1(adio), Soca (lakai), and Hsu(osiris) all look the same!!! All the new shoe companys are coming out with shoes, trying to be so original that they all look identical. I mean come on now, and Koston, 2,3,&4's and them DC's , we don't play basketball. We skate, just build some shoes with a rubber toecap and some cushioning and we're all good. And while your at it, make them looking nice would be good, but don't make them look all the same. Originality is good, but so is individuality. And lower the prices, for the price of soem of these shoes, you can two decks, TWO DECKS!, I'd rather get two decks than pay for a pair of shoes that look like the stupid Jordan's. But I only buy shoes on sale, so it doesn't matter to me anyway, i don't know why Im ranting on the prices, but they are skyrocketing like Mikey at Ramp41. Anyway, consider all that the next time you go buying shoes. Rad show tonite at Harmony Grange, and plus the Three16 contest #2 is going on at 360skatespot today as well, it starts.. now! (9:37am) but as you read, I haven't gone to hit it up. I don't have a way to get there, I gotta redo my whole room with the new furniture I got and I gotta pack for the beach tomorow, and there's a show and party tonite and I gotta skate sometime today esp. since I didn't get to touch my board once yesterday. Whabos -out. (7/13/02) ~Tommy

Today i went and skated the Ramp 48 skatepark in Pampano Beach, Fl.....thatis a supper rad park, a link to see some of the picture is Ramp 48 . i went off on that place...some of my airs were like 7 feet, no lie and i did a feeble, 5-0, 50-50, noseslide, and boardslide down the rail they had. i also met this kid named Alex Savior, he will be pro. he was supper nice and helped me with this transfer i was trying and i got it. it was off the half bowl quater pipe to a smaller ramp, kinda hard to tell in the pictures, but hard as hell. so i did the transfer to a tail stall and to a disaster and Alex did it, but he did a nose blunt-heelflip in....amazing. it was a really good park, and i hope i get to go back, i did alot of neat tricks that i need a camera to explain, but maybe ill try and borrow my moms freind's and i can get some stuff on film....but as for now, thats it for me and im out~ (7-12-02) MIKEY

NO ONE will ever guess what Kevin is doing tonite!! He is practicing with the band JUNIOR tonite! They want him to play in a couple shows soon as well. So Kevin is really stoked on that. Today... we skated Lantana it sucked, came back played pingpong, watched Osiris the Storm, and nothing else really. The 2nd Skate contest in the three16 series is on Sat, don't forget. i won't be goign because it is too far, but I'm goign to try and make the 3rd one. And there is also a show on Sat. night, it's goign to be great, Junior will be there as well. (7/11/02) ~Tommy

Senor Kevin and I skated Hockessin today. We started off at Harvest Market where I almost got tailslide 270's.Then we went to the Prima's drop where I fakie 180d, nollied, frontsid 180d. Then i put up one of the fence logs and I ollied over it. I almost 180d it but kept casing my back truck on the log. Then we went to pick up my 44$ paycheck and stopped at Pat's Pizzeria where David G., Travis F., Nate J.,Tyler J.,Pete,Tom. H, and Larry H. were already eating. Then we all went over David's and chilled there for a while. David had work at 5 so we split like a racehorse, and on the way back, Kevin and I spotted the manhole ramp on the sidewalks of Hickory Hill. Wow! what a session that was. Let's see..tricks pulled by both of us - kickflip, fakie frontside & backside 180, nollie, nollieshuv-it, frontside 180, backside 180, fakie ollie, and popshuv it. But we had many many more tricks up our...sleeves. Kevin and I have some unfinished business for later, for we were very dehydrated. Kevin ALMOST landed, 360 flip, heelflipped, backside flipped, and fakie frontside flipped. I was working on frontside flipping it but dehydration can take a lot our of you. So those tricks are waiting to be pulled. Oh, and Kevin may get a haircut...eeek! No regrets, no regrets.. (7/10/02) ~Tommy

Updated some old stuff around this site, and new video clips to be up soon. Pics section also coming. Remember, you can email anyone of us and tell us what you want on the site and other remarks. We consider everything. Oh, new profiles on all the skaters asap. (7/9/02) ~Tommy

Oh wow, today was yet another good day of skating. Me and Kevin started it off at Harvest Market, we tore that shit up yo yo yo. Kevin and I learned 270 grinds, first thing, kevin annihalated the coping with a 270 soemthing 50grind to 180-270 out. it made me dizzy, I dont' even nkow what it was. I also landed a 270 backside smith on it. I nosegrinded the block down curb. Hugh and Zack show up and Zack starts it up wiht a couple techs and then almost landed a supersupersmooth crooked down the block. He also attempted the kickflip to 5050 down the block, he came extremetly clsoe to that but slipped it. Then off to brandywine elem. school where we got kicked out about 15 minutes in. Plus, i ripped the hole in my pants even bigger, now my whabos can hang out. We(zack,me and kevin) arrived at Delcastle where Zack first attempted to ollie the double 4 set. But set it aside for another day. I got syched when he started attempting it, and so I started to as well, and after a few bails and lefthip slappings, i ollied it. Finis (7/8/02) -Tommy

We,(kevin, aaron, alex, and me{tommy})went off in search of a great skate day, and found it.First off, Aaron and I arrived at kevins at about nnoon to watch the Flip vid. Then picked up Alex and away to Newark we went.1st stop, Switch to get Alex a new board. After that, we hit up the center of Newark shopping plaza and got kicked out very soon.We met up with two kids, one of which was pretty good.We went to the Medleb gap, which Aaron ollied, and I 180d backside and frontside, and almost landed kflip. Kevin got into a fight with a roughrough manual pad and came out wiht a superbloody knee.but he kickflipped and varial flipped a diff. gap at medleb. It was gnarly and def. deserves respect! After refueling on energy and drinks, we went to the hudson fed. building with the 2 kids we had met earlier. An 8step handrail was waiting to be hitup. The good kid boardslide the 8step rail and soon after, I also boardslid it, btu not without buttsmacking the rail. Then we skated with mike shank and caleb and soem other newport kids, and left off to Brandywine Springs ledge on 4. Aaron backside 5050d it, and I frontside 5050,5-0,& 5-0 180d out the ledge. Then we went to harvest market where we met with Zack W. and Hugh H. We skated there for a little bit and I came home, where now I am updating thsi page. Have fun, my butt is aching at the moment. (7/7/02) - Tommy

A lot has happened since the last time this page was updated. This is a new section of the page where we will be posting news and updates. If anyone out there doesnt like this format, tell us thru email or thru AIM.Well, now, Aaron works for Henry's Auto, Mike used to work for Grottos Pizza, but quit once he moved back to Hockessin, Kevin works at Primas Pizza by the WaWa, Alex works at Zingoes and the VW Auto and I used to work for Samantha's Cafe but they hit the ditches and now I'm unemployed as well. Mike is living in Miami for a month and won't be back until July 25. That's it for now, if no one complains about this new section, I shall be updating this very frequently. ~Tommy (7/7/02)...
