"Feryl Steps Out"
A band of vicious pirates are using a land-ship (ie ship on wheels) to plunder small towns and villages, however Feryl and Leoric arrive in time to stop their latest raid. During the fight Feryl does badly while Leoric on the other hand is his usual swashbuckling self.
He quietly leaves the Spectral Knights, beleiving he is too great a liability. Later refusing an offer by Darkstorm to join his Darkling Lords, his honour and loyalty still remains. Darkstorm has Cravex use his power of Fear to make Leoric believe the Darkling Lords have Feryl captive.
He rushes off blindly in the middle of the night, and finds what he believes is Feryl hanging limp from a tree. It is in fact the villainess, Virulina - disguised as Feryl.
Leoric is captured in the ambush and his magical totem removed in the Dagger Assault. Feryl witnesses the capture and is determined to rescue his friend from Darkstorm's castle. He manages to sneak into the dungeons in his Wolf form, while Darkstorm gathers the Darkling Lords for a planned attack on the weakened Spectral Knights.
Feryl duels with Mortdred in the dungeon, however, the Darkling Lord is able to sound the alarm. The two Spectral Knights make a hastey escape to the courtyard and into the Dagger Assault. While Leoric lies in the magical dungeon, having his totem restored, Ferly delays the Darkling Lords, causing Cindarr to loose his power of Destruction inside Darkstorm's castle.
Crashing the Dagger Assault into the moat, the pair escape on foot, foiling Darkstorm's villainous schemes.
Feryl finally accepts that while he doesn't have a power staff, only he and Ectar can operate the vehicles and with new found faith in himself he returns to the Spectral Knights.
