"Dawn of the Sun Imps"
A recent earthquake unearths a tomb which Merklynn immediately requests re-sealed. Both the Spectral Knights and the Darkling Lords obey, but Lexor becoming anxious deliberately tricks Cindarr into saying his magical phrase and calling forth the power of Destruction.
The beast shatters the seal on the tomb and Cryotek uses his power staff of Might to stop it doing any further damage. The Darkling Lords and Spectral Knights can not help but laugh when the six Sun Imps crawl out, not much more than a foot high. They soon stop laughing as the Sun Imps make fools of them with their magical powers.
They pursue the creatures along the plain, but they creep into the shadows and turn into their animal/insect forms, evading capture.
However, the next day both New Valarak and Darkstorm's Domain are plagued by the Sun Imps when they return with the rising sun and create havoc throughout the kingdoms. Mortdred is fooled into giving away Darkstorm's treasury, while Darkstorm himself is tangled up in his own beard.
Leoric is trapped in his lion form and tamed, and Merklynn is imprisoned in a cage and made to spin on his nose. When night comes and the Sun Imps vanish, both sides unaminously agree to combine forces and put a stop to the Sun Imps.
Powerless without sunlight, the Spectral Knights and Darkling Lords capture each Sun Imp, one-by-one and contain them in darkened boxes. The Spectral Knights and Darkling Lords take the Sun Imps back to the tomb to reseal it, but Shaggy temporarily escapes when he complains to Cindarr that he is suffocating.
Cindarr tells no one and both sides depart while Shaggy opens the tomb door and hurries inside to collect his fellow imps. Merklynn, however, closes the door, having known all along.
He seals them in for good with a wink to the camera.
