"Horn of Unicorn, Claw of Dragon"
A disease befalls Prysmos which only effects magic users. Both the Spectral Knights and Darkling Lords are taken ill.
Leaving only Arzon and Whitterquick - who were on a hunting expedition - to go to Merklynn for aid. Upon reaching Irontop Mountain they find Lexor and Cindarr have come to Merklynn for the same purpose.
The wizard explains that the disease is fatal and the only cure requires two vital ingredients. The horn of a unicorn and the claw of a dragon.
They split into two teams, Lexor and Cindarr heading for a magical island, home to the unicorns and guarded by Wood Nymphs. While Whitterquick and Arzon search a valley for the infamous dragon, Grezgamon. However, he finds them first and they flee for safety.
On the island, Lexor has Cindarr unwillingly use his power of Destruction against a herd of Unicorn. They escape and the beast turns on them, forcing Lexor to waste his power of Invulnerabiltiy.
Cindarr leaves Lexor to dry out at a campfire while he searches for food. He discovers a baby unicorn which was lost from the herd and lets it go free rather than tell Lexor who would have him kill it. The Wood Nymphs are amazed and ask him why he spared the baby.
When Cindarr explains that they need a horn to save their friends, the Wood Nymphs give him a flute made from a unicorn horn. Back in the Valley, Whitterquick and Arzon are saved from death at the hands of Grezgamon when a double-headed dragon enters the valley and attacks.
After a magnificent duel, Grezgamon emerges triumphant. However, he falls wounded to the valley floor. Arzon goes to the dragon's aid, apologizing for their initial unfriendly intentions, and that despite their need for a dragon's claw, he is too proud a creature for them to slay.
Arzon mends Grezgamon's wounded wing and the dragon returns their favor by taking them to a claw that broke off the enemy dragon. He flies the two Spectral Knights back to Irontop Mountain where Lexor and Cindarr await.
Merklynn is able to cast the spell of healing and save all of Prysmos' magic users.
