Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
December is typically a slow caving month for our Grotto. Now is the time to stuff those stockings with cave gear, rappel equipment, etc. and to plan for next year's caving excitement. Our Christmas Party at Joedy and Rita's house was great fun, with wonderful food and drink. I would like to personally thank all who came. Since most of the Grotto was present at the party, we held our December Grotto meeting at that time.
Our next planned Grotto caving trip is for all experience levels. We will be caving Trout, New Trout, Hamilton and/or Keys cave in Franklin, WV arriving at Thorn Spring Park Friday evening 20 Feb 2004, and leaving Sunday, 22 Feb 2004. I'm (Joedy) the trip leader and have made arrangements for one cabin at Thorn Spring Park. Please give me a telephone call or preferably an e-mail if you intend to go with how many are in your party by January 15th. If you need a separate cabin, let me know as soon as possible.

The January Tidewater Grotto meeting will be held 7:30 p.m., Thursday, 22 Jan 2004, at Joedy and Rita's house. Nominations for officers are taken at this time. The February meeting is when new officers are elected. The March meeting is when our new officers take office. Grotto dues must be collected by April 1st. Don't forget, you can always pay your dues early!
