The Trinity Delusion An examination of the doctrine of the Trinity

YAHWEH the Father

"Then you shall say to Pharaoh, "Thus says Yahweh, 'Israel is My son, My firstborn.' So I said to you, 'Let My son go that he may serve Me' but you have refused to let him go. Behold, I will kill your son, your firstborn.'" (Exodus 4:22-23).

"Do you thus repay Yahweh, O foolish and unwise people? Is HE not your Father who has bought you? He has made you and established you.... You neglected the Rock who begat you, And forgot the God who gave you birth. Yahweh saw this, and spurned them because of the provocation of HIS sons and daughters. Then HE said, 'I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end shall be for they are a perverse generation, Sons in whom is no faithfulness.... See now that I, I am HE, and there is no God besides ME. (Deuteronomy 32, the Song of Moses).

Then he called for his son Solomon, and charged him to build a house for Yahweh God of Israel. David said to Solomon, "My son, I had intended to build a house to the name of Yahweh my God. But the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 'You have shed much blood and have waged great wars; you shall not build a house to My name, because you have shed so much blood on the earth before Me. Behold, a son will be born to you, who shall be a man of rest and I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quiet to Israel in his days. He shall build a house for My name, and he shall be My son and I will be his Father and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever. (1 Chronicles 22:6-10).

Yahweh also declares to you that Yahweh will make a house for you. "When your days are complete and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your descendant after you, who will come forth from you, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. I will be a Father to him and he will be a Son to Me.... In accordance with all these words and all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David. Then David the king went in and sat before Yahweh, and he said,... You are great, Yahweh God for there is none like You, and there is no God besides You, according to all that we have heard with our ears. (2 Samuel 7:11-22; cf. 1 Chronicles 17:10-20; 28:6,9; 1 Kings 9:5).

For to what angel did God ever say, "You are my Son, today I have begotten you"? Or again, "I will be a Father to him, and he will be a son to me"? (Hebrews 1:5).

So David blessed Yahweh in the sight of all the assembly and David said, "Blessed are You, O Yahweh God of Israel our Father, forever and ever. Yours, O Yahweh, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O Yahweh, and You exalt Yourself as head over all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone. Now therefore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name. But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given You. For we are sojourners before You, and tenants, as all our fathers were; our days on the earth are like a shadow, and there is no hope. O Yahweh our God, all this abundance that we have provided to build You a house for Your holy name, it is from Your hand, and all is Yours. Since I know, O my God, that You try the heart and delight in uprightness, I, in the integrity of my heart, have willingly offered all these things; so now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here, make their offerings willingly to You. O Yahweh, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, our fathers, preserve this forever in the intentions of the heart of Your people, and direct their heart to You; and give to my son Solomon a perfect heart to keep Your commandments, Your testimonies and Your statutes, and to do them all, and to build the temple, for which I have made provision." Then David said to all the assembly, "Now bless Yahweh your God." And all the assembly blessed Yahweh, the God of their fathers, and bowed low and worshiped Yahweh and the king. (1 Chronicles 29:10-20).

I will sing of the lovingkindness of Yahweh forever.... Who among the sons of God is like Yahweh He will cry to Me, 'You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation.' I also shall make him My firstborn, The highest of the kings of the earth. Psalm 89:1,27.

For You are our Father, though Abraham does not know us And Israel does not recognize us. You, O Yahweh, are our Father, Our Redeemer from of old is Your name. (Isaiah 63:16).

But now, O Yahweh, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. (Isaiah 64:8).

Then I said, `How I would set you among My sons And give you a pleasant land, The most beautiful inheritance of the nations!' And I said, 'You shall call Me, My Father, And not turn away from following Me.' (Jeremiah 3:19).

Do we not all have one father? Has not one God created us? (Malachi 2:10).
