The Trinity Delusion An exposé of the doctrine of the Trinity

God's Prophet

Yahweh your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your kinsmen, you shall listen to him. This is according to all that you asked of the Lord your God in Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, "Let me not hear again the voice of Yahweh my God, let me not see this great fire anymore, or I will die." Yahweh said to me, "They have spoken well. I will raise up a prophet from among their kinsmen like you, and I will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him. It shall come about that whoever will not listen to My words which he shall speak in My name, I Myself will require it of him.
Deuteronomy 18:15-19.

Moses said, "The Lord God will raise up for you a prophet like me from your brethren; to him you shall give heed to everything he says to you. And it will be that every soul that does not heed that prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people." And likewise, all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and his successors onward, also announced these days. It is you who are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant which God made with your fathers, saying to Abraham, "And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed." For you first, God raised up His servant-son and sent him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways. Acts 3:22-26.

Philip found Nathanael and said to him, "We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the Prophets wrote - Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." John 1:45.

You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about me and you are unwilling to come to me so that you may have life...For if you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?” John 5:39-46.

"This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world." John 6:14 (see 4:19; 9:17).

And the crowds were saying, "This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth in Galilee." (Matthew 21:11).

Fear gripped them all, and they began glorifying God, saying, "A great prophet has arisen among us!" and, "God has visited His people!" Luke 7:16.

Some of the people therefore, when they heard these words, were saying, "This surely is the Prophet." John 7:40 (see 1:25).

A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his own household. Matthew 13:57.

When they sought to seize him, they feared the people, because they considered him to be a prophet. Matthew 21:46.

"I will put My words in his mouth and he shall speak to them all that I command him."
(Deut 18:18)

And Jesus cried out and said, "He who believes in me, does not believe in me but in Him who sent me. He who sees me sees Him who sent me. I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in me will not remain in darkness. If anyone hears my sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. He who rejects me and does not receive my sayings, has One who judges him; the Word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day. For I did not speak from myself, but the Father Himself who sent me has given me a command as to what to say and what to speak. I know that His command is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told me. John 12:44-50; see Deut 18:18.

For He whom God has sent speaks the Words of God. John 3:34.

He who hears my Word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life. John 5:24.

You do not have His Word abiding in you, for you do not believe him whom He sent. You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about me and you are unwilling to come to me so that you may have life. John 5:38-40.

My teaching is not mine, but His who sent me. If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from myself. He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but he who is seeking the glory of the One who sent him, he is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him. John 7:16-19.

if I do judge, my judgment is true; for I am not alone in it, but I and the Father who sent me. Even in your law it has been written that the testimony of two men is true. I am he who testifies about myself, and the Father who sent me testifies about me.... You know neither me nor my Father; if you knew me, you would know my Father also...He who sent me is true; and the things which I heard from Him, these I speak to the world.... I do nothing from myself, but I speak these things as the Father taught me....If you abide in my Word, then you are truly my disciples and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.... I speak the things which I have seen with my Father... He who is of God hears the words of God.... if anyone keeps my Word he will never see death.... If I glorify Myself, my glory is nothing; it is my Father who glorifies me.... I do know Him and keep His Word. John 8:16-55.

The Words that I say to you I do not speak from myself, but the Father abiding in me does the works. John 14:10.

He who does not love me does not keep my Words; and the Word which you hear is not mine, but the Father’s who sent me. John 14:24

The words which You gave me I have given to them....I have given them Your Word. John 17:8,14.
