Pipe Specifications
- All pipe is to be made of a long hole ,surrounded by plastic centered around the hole.
- All pipe is to be hollow throughout the entire length of the pipe- do not use holes of different lengths.
- The inside diameter of all pipe must not exceed the outside diameter otherwise the hole will be on the outside.
- All pipe is to be supplied with nothing in the hole so that cables / liquid and other stuff can be put in at a later date.
- All pipe over 150 metres should have the words " LONG PIPE "
clearly painted on each end so the gangs will know it is a long pipe.
- All pipe over three killometres long must also have the words
"LONG Pipe " painted in the middle so the gang will not have to walk
the entire length of the pipe to detirmine if it isa a long or short
pipe.
- All pipes over 100mm diameter must have the words " LARGE PIPE" painted on it so the gang will not mistake it for a small pipe.
- When ordering 90 degree, 45 degree or 30 degree elbows, be sure
to specify right hand or left hand bends otherwise you will end up
going in the wrong direction.
- Be sure to specify wether you want level, uphill or downhill
pipe. If you use downhill pipe for going uphill, the cable / liquid
will flow in the wrong direction.
Alas I can't lay claim to this logic. Author lost in time.
