Black History Month Poster Project

For the next two weeks as an extra assignment you have the opportunity to create a poster for black history month.  The poster must:

1. Be on a scientist of African/Caribbean heritage.
2. Include the following items:
   1. Where and when the scientist was born.
   2. What type of schooling they had.
   3. What they have contributed to science.
   4. How their contributions have affected us today.

The best poster from year 8 and year 9 will win a prize.  (Posters which have been cut and pasted from a website will be disqualified)
