Frank De Winne, Sergei Salyotin and Yuri Lonchakov were celebrated at the
City Hall of
Ghent
Belgium on July 5 2003. Aleksandr Lazutkin who already flew on Soyuz
TM25 and
backup Cosmonaut for this mission was also present.
The three cosmonauts were launched aboard the Soyuz TMA 1
spacecraft to the International Space Station(ISS) On October 30 2003.
This meeting was also
attended by the JWR(Youth working group Space Travel), The Belgian
Working group Satellites(BWGS) and many other Belgian Space Travel enthousiasts.
