Specs:
As you may have learned by now, 1st Generation Neons were built with a short suspension travel (~5.5"). In stock form, this makes it a very responsive handler and one of the reasons the Neon has won a lot of SCCA races. However, this becomes a problem when you go to lower it using aftermarket lowering springs. The strut travel just isn't there. The tables below show the amount of strut travel when used w/ certain lowering springs and the difference when using these Kaster/Kamber plates:

FRONT

5.25" total strut travel
Compressed 3" 1" Xtra Travel
Stock Strut Mounts
Bump Rebound
Stock Springs: 2.25" 3"
1" Mopar Springs: 1.25" 4"
2" Lowering Springs: 0.25" 5"
Kaster/Kamber Plates
Bump Rebound
3.25" 2"
2.25" 3"
1.25" 4"

= Best Combination

REAR

The rear plates are provided with a 1" offset spacer to give you the choice of having an extra 1" or 2" of travel.

Plates are machined out of 6061-T6 Aircraft Grade Aluminum and 316 Stainless Steel for added strength. The Kaster/Kamber plates utilize a solid spherical bearing to mount the strut, rather than the soft rubber OEM piece which will deflect under load. With the absence of deflection, these plates will be able to maintain their static alignment settings which results in a quicker and more direct steering response. The bearing's race is teflon lined so that no lubrication is needed and operates quietly. These plates have seperate slots for adjusting caster and camber independent of one another for precise and accurate alignment settings.

If you are not a serious racer and don't need the full caster and camber adjustability, but still want the increased strut travel, then check out my Solid Strut Mounts.
