So far I have studied at Otago University where I gained a BSc in Physics, Canterbury where I started and Victoria where I've just completed a Graduate Diploma in Computer Science, it's all signed, sealed and delivered, I went up, got my hat (again) gave the Dean of Science and Archchancellor a peck on the cheek in thanks and walked into a life of fame, fortune and ... well Im not up to that bit yet.
Currently my goals are all about developing software for MozzieNet, and proving to myself that all those years of education have been worth it. Software Engineering here I come!
I am a role-player and moderately active in the Wellington Role-playing circles, at least the ones that are open to new people. Details can be found by following the menu on the left to my role-playing and Shadowrun pages
Favored Computer Games are currently Civilisation III, Alpha Centari and Online Java Settlers of Catan.
Also as a hobby I enjoy tinkering with this webpage
I am currently not romantically entangled.
I have a strange and unusual personal philosophy, built over a good deal of experience living with a lot of different people and doing a lot of things. In general I like to believe that people to bad things from stupidity rather then by deliberate maliciousness, that whether or not there is a god is irrelevant to how you should live your life, and that doing things is better than not doing things. Believe it or not this covers most situations that can be found in life. I generally make other stuff up on the fly.
Things which are important to me include the people around me, happiness and success at endevours undertaken.
I was accused of having this a while ago, While I'm still not sure if it was intended as a complement or not, after much consultation with other people I've determined that it's probably not a bad thing. I think the main reason that it sticks in my mind so much is that it's quite a change from the 'veneer of scruffiness' which I almost certainly used to exude.
My student days were somewhat more... disorganised.
And of course it is only a Veneer of Normalacy :-)
