-Ratings increased since "Bushwacked".

Last Friday night "Our Mrs. Reynolds" garnered a 4.3/8. An increase from "Bushwacked," which pulled 3.6/7. The series premiere received a 4.1/8. There is hope for us yet, my friends. Article is here.

-TiVo says "Don't discount 'Firefly'"

SyFy Portal is reporting that 'Firefly' is being set to "season pass" over all other shows except CBS' "CSI: Miami." As of now, TiVo has approxiamately 500,000 subscribers. Click the link for more info.

-Joss Whedon wrote the theme song.

According to the official site, Joss Whedon was the one who wrote the shows very western theme song. Its official title is "Ballad of Serenity," and it is performed by Sonny Rhodes. Head over to the Official Site to stream the show's intro.

-Viewers drop further in Firefly's third week.

After an already weak premiere (6.3 million viewers), Firefly has dropped down to only 4.9 million viewers in its third week of programming. According to Zap2it.com Firefly only pulled in a 4.8/9, fourth place on Friday night trailing "America's Funniest Home Videos" (ABC), "Providence" (NBC), and "48 Hours Investigates" on CBS.

-Firefly pemiere was not the success Fox had hoped for!

According to Sci Fi Wire The Firefly premiere was incredibly slow, pulling a share of 3.0/11 (adults 18-49). This translates into only 6.3 million viewers! Even thought the ratings were still low, Firefly still beat out Fox's 2001-02 season average by 11%. It is also reported that the show lost viewers n its second half hour.

-Gina Torres weds Laurence Fishburne!

The Matrix star Laurence Fishburne wed Firefly actress Gina Torres last weekend. The couple exchanged vows in New York City on Sept. 29.
