I intend to use a light green background as my initial color scheme, allowing me to keep it easy to understand and to read. For now, I will stick with the default settings for the various links.

After reviewing the information on splash pages versus going directly to the main page or core page, I have decided to begin with the core page. I will however keep the option of adding a splash page later in the project.

The same applies to the use of a metaphor as I would like the student to keep his/her mind on the information provided. I may consider it for some visual effects later.
