The Legend of Doommon: Part 7
Now that the group was back together again and our digimon finally
reached the Mega level, we planed on finding Doommon. The trick was
understanding where he was.
"I heard that Doommon is as slippery as a wet snake," Mathmon said. "How
in the world are we going to find him?"
"That's what I'd like to know," I said in reply.
I stopped walking. There was a strange presence around but I didn't know
where it was coming from. I hoped it wasn't a digimon coming to battle us in
the condition our digimon were in. I began to wonder. Could Doommon actually
be in the real world? I didn't know, but it seemed possible at the time.
Keramon spotted a pizza place. "I starved! From what I heard about pizza,
it's really good!"
I smiled. I took out my money and sighed. All I had was enough for a
small pizza which would be barely enough for Keramon. "Sorry buddy," I said
to Keramon. "I don't have enough cash."
Both Lisa and Leo dug their hands into their pockets. They were obviously
as hungry as Keramon.
"Nothing," Lisa said.
"I have a dollar and some change," Leo told me.
I sighed. Now we would be hungry until we had enough money. But that
would take awhile.
"We'll have to find something else" I said glumly.
A shadow passed over us and I had a strange feeling. I looked up. All I
saw was a shadow that looked awfully familiar.
"It's Doommon," I muttered.
Leo looked at me. "You know James, you're acting pretty weird."
It finally hit me. Doommon was just testing us against all the digimon
that battled us. Come to think of it, it was obvious.
"Haven't you noticed the all the digimon we've battled were evil?" I
asked Lisa and Leo suddenly.
"Yeah, but what does that have to do with Doommon?" Lisa asked me.
"Don't you get it? Doommon is obviously controlling them!" Leo and Lisa
stared at me like I was crazy. "And our last battle, where did the 4 other
ones come from?" They looked at me with blank faces. "Doommon controlled them
and made them teleport here to the real world without opening a portal." I
said with a sigh.
They thought about it for a minute.
"Oh! I get it!" Leo exclaimed.
"I think I've got it," Lisa said slowly.
I looked back up at where the shadow was but it was gone.
"Guys," I muttered.
I heard Lisa scream from behind me. I looked back and saw Doommon,
holding Leo and Lisa. He grinned.
"Again we meet James," Doommon said to me.
"What do you want with them?!"
"Nothing really. You see James, if I told you, it wouldn't be a secret
now would it?"
Before he could reply, he was gone, Lisa, her digimon, and Leo with him.
I stared hard at the place where they had been. Was it a portal to the
digiworld?
"How are we supposed to fight him on our own?" I said glumly.
"Luck?" Keramon suggested.
"That would need to be a whole lot of luck" Mathmon told Keramon.
I stood staring at where Doommon used to be, wondering about things
