Why did you make this page?


Overall, I made this page because I thought other people could benefit from it. I'm hoping it will answer any questions visitors might have about me and my weightloss/fitness philosophy without them having to search through my many journal entries. I'm also hoping that visitors might find something in my links which will help them look at fitness and weightloss in a way they may not have thought of before.

Why did you make a public journal?


I made a public journal because I've been reading blogs for a while and thought it might be fun. I've also kept a journal since I was 10-ish, in the knowledge that someday, somewhere, someone would end up reading it. Posting my journal online is, for me, essentially a way to control who gets to look in my journal. Believe it or not I think it feels more private to post my journal online than to write it down in a book.

As I've continued to write in my journal, and read others, I've also discovered that public journals are an excellent way of both giving and getting support from other people. I like to think that what I have to say in my journal may change someone's life for the better, as I know other people's diaries have changed my own.
