Dear Ms. English Teacher
My pattern is all wrong
And my stanzas are too long
This whole sentence don't belong
I say don't when I should say doesn't
You say there was a need for change,
But their wasn't
My sentences have not structure
I'm prepared for another lecture
What else do you conjecture?
Just draw me a picture
So I can depict you
I didn't elect you
All I can commit to
Is nothing you agree to
All my words are beyond you
You don't know what you're doing
i don't like all this changing
Please stop erasing
My poetry you're defacing
My emotions you're displacing
Stop it before I start crying
It's all fine
You were lying
You can't change my feelings
After all your dealings
You're acting like a preacher
Dear Ms. English Teacher
You're thinkings way too old
And please leave my poetry alone!
