Destined
The leaves crunched beheath my feet
And I wondered if this is all there is for me
Walking on a moonlit night
To cross my arms and hope for flight
The stars are so far away
But when I move my hands they sway
I spin around and fall to earth
I curl up and feel its worth
Like a mother comforting a child
The earth grounds this heart that is so wild
And as the leaves blow off the trees
I know this is what's meant for me
