Game Review

Packing the house, Esico and Sasktoon filled the Tucsok Arena right to the roof with screaming fans. Everyone was buying tickets at the start of the season to watch this game and it was not disapointing.

D.McAmmond opened the scoring with T.Hunter and G.Johnson witht he assists. Many people did not think that the first goal would come at 1:38 into the game and in the first period.

The next goal started to blow the roof off. At 4.42 of the first, T.Hunter got a goal to help the Blizzard go up 2-0 before they went into the locker room.

Second Period was getting everyone pumped up even more. This had to be the best period out of the 3. M.Nasland scored 6 seconds into the 2nd period with a ltitle help by P.Bure and J.McKee. 49 seconds later, D.Legwand lost to T.Selanne with Selanne walking away with nothing more than a sore hand. Legwand should of just ran away. 3:22 was the life of the Barons with a goal of their own. J.Woolley had a weak one that hit off the back of the glass and hit 2 Blizzard players than went in. A goal is a goal.

The third period was slow but I think that the losing was getting to the team when M.St.Louis dropped the gloves and made a number out of M.Johnson. N.Khabibulin was pulled after the 3rd goal was let in on only 19 shots. R.Turek came in on the second period and turned away 30 shots. Grahame turned away 39 shots for the win and the number 1 star.

3 Stars of the game
