The One Piece Anime Drinking Game

First off - get a barrel of your favorite drink
Second - get a bunch of OP episodes.
Third - pick a characte
Fourth - Let the Game began!

Extensive experimentation dictates that following the general rules and all of the character rules for two episodes using liquor leads to a pleasant buzz/serious drunken stupor depending on tolerance level, character, and episode.
This list is hardly conclusive. 
Feel free to email suggestions here.  Addition of suggestions are at the discretion of the proprietor.

General rules:
1 drink if:
There is nosepicking
Explosions. (be warned; these two rules
alone can lead to a coma during the Whiskey Peak and Little Garden Arcs.)
You hear 'Shanks' Theme' during a DRAMATIC moment.
Your favorite character shows up on the wanted poster during the commercial break.
Giant sea beast sighting.
Someone has to be saved from drowning. (chug if the rescuer loses a body part in the process.)
The crew does essential 'ship' things - pulling up the anchor, taking crow's nest duty, washing up, swabbing the deck.
Extended clothing change by anyone other than Nami.

Luffy:
One drink if:
Says his catchphrase.
Stretches.
Expands into a balloon - 2 drinks if it's because he ate too much.
Removes his hat to fight.
Makes a seemingly irrational decision that actually has much thought behind it.
Makes a seemingly irrational decision that is merely irrational.
Wins over stranger or animal.

Two drinks if:
You see Chibi Luffy.
Has to be saved from drowning.
Uses a named Gomu Gomu attack.
Has a Shanks flashback.
Hat is removed - and not by himself (explosion, another person, etc.)
Luffy gets lost (almost but not quite as often as ZoroE

Three drinks if:
Shanks' departure scene gives you the sniffles.
You wonder why Luffy never bothered to mention to anyone that he has an older brother who was also a pirate who was also looking for One Piece.

Drink everything in the house if:
Luffy finds One Piece.
We find out who Luffy's parents are.


Zoro:
One drink if:
Zoro and Sanji get in a fight
Zoro is asleep.
Zoro pulls a sword only part way out of its sheath.
Blood - not Zoro's - goes everywhere.
Zoro cuts something/somebody.
Zoro drinks.
Zoro puts his handkerchief on.
Trains.

Two drinks if:
Zoro bleeds. (Sure fire unconsciousness addendum: Estimate the amount of blood lost - drink that much.)
Zoro gets lost.
Zoro uses one of his patented moves.
Zoro hallucinates Kuina's face on Tashigi.
He swears that he will get stronger/laments his lack of strength.
Zoro repeats his desire to become the greatest swordsman in the world.
Kuina is shown in a flashback.
Trains/sleeps and gets yelled at by someone. (three drinks if it is not Nami)

Three drinks if:
You get the sniffles when Chibi Zoro breaks down in front of his sensee.
Zoro does something he probably shouldn't be able to do until the Alabasta Arc (what are the Marines' cannonballs made of anyway? Pretty cheap stuff!)
Zoro has his first scene with goggles.

Drink everything in the house if:
Zoro becomes the greatest swordsman in the world.
Zoro shows that he does indeed have hormones.


Nami:
One drink if:
Nami negotiates.
Nami blackmails Zoro to do her bidding.
Nami manipulates Sanji to do her bidding.
Nami beats her crewmates into submission. (one drink for each crewmate)
Nami beats a stranger into submission (no bo.)
You can see the color of Nami's pupils.

Two drinks if:
She uses her bo.
She does the hand sign for 'money.'
You wonder why Nami gets to change her clothes and no one else does.
You wonder how Nami can be considered 'weak' when she routinely beats the ever loving crud out of her fellow crewmembers.
You wonder how Nami can be considered 'weak' when she easily carries bags of treasure three to four times her body weight.
Nami cries (serious and not.)

Three drinks if:
You're watching the episode where Nami's voice actress changes (either to the new one or back to the old one).
You get the sniffles during the Arlong Arc.

Drink everything in the house if:
Nami makes a map of the world.
Nami's desire for money and treasure is completely satisfied.


Usopp:
One drink if:
He uses his slingshot.
Usopp calls himself a valiant warrior of the sea.
Usopp goofs off with Luffy.
His knees knock together.
He lies to amuse someone.
He lies to save his butt.
And fails miserably.

Two drinks if:
He lies and doesn't fail miserably.
He calls himself a valiant warrior of the sea while his knees knock together.
You laugh out loud because he is so funny.
He names his slingshot shot.
He sustains massive damage.
But prevails, because he is so cool.
Usopp performs his duties as resident repairer of the Going Merry Go.
Usopp performs chemistry (Chemistry - the only major worth spending money on)

Three drinks if:
Usopp breaks his nose.
The fact that Usopp holds his own with the rest of the crew when the chips are down really impresses you.

Drink everything in the house if:
Usopp becomes a valiant warrior of the sea (assuming that you don't think he is already.)
Usopp finally sees his deadbeat dad, Yassop.


Sanji:
One drink if:
Sanji has a cigarette in his mouth (note: if you wish to truly put yourself into a coma, drink every time there is a new scene with Sanji and cigarette)
Sanji's cigarette has cool smoke effects. (same variation as above.)
Sanji does a cool gesture with his cigarette.
Even though you kicked your smoking habit and have been clean for six years, you want to light up just because Sanji looks so darn
smooth.
Sanji gets a heart for his eye.
Sanji performs love slave duties for Nami.
Sanji hits on Nami or Vivi.
Sanji gets shot down.
Kicks someone (non-named.)

Two drinks if:
He beats Luffy for getting near the oranges.
He kicks someone with a named move.
He hits on someone who isn't Nami or Vivi.
He wears the Dolskoi Panda apron (sexy!)
You wonder what is up with his eyebrow.
You wonder what is up with all the females.  A handsome guy who can kick ass
and cook - what's their problem?

Three drinks if:
He doesn't get shot down.
You get the sniffles during Sanji's departure scene.
Sanji gets new clothes.

Drink everything in the house if:
Sanji finds All-Blue.
Sanji gets some.

Drink everything in your neighbor's house if:
Sanji gets some from Nami.

Chopper:
One drink if:
Chopper is cute.  Just cute in general, nothing specific.
Chopper falls for one of Usopp's lies.
Chopper changes form (same variation for others: one drink for first time or drink every time it happens.)
Chopper medicates someone.
Chopper calls for a medic. (Um, Chopper?  Isn't that you?)
He's hot (weather!)

Two drinks if:
Uses the rumble ball.
Arms Point.
Fluffball Point.
There is a Hiruluk Flashback.

Three drinks if:
You get the sniffles during the Drum Arc.

Drink everything in the house if:
Chopper becomes the greatest doctor in the world.


Nico Robin:
Note: While these are written for the episodes that occur after the Alabasta Arc, a few of them may be applied during earlier episodes.

One drink if:
Nico charms someone into letting her have her way.
Uses her Devil Fruit powers (hands only/combat only.)
Wears her cowboy hat.
Wears an armband.
Reads.

Two drinks if:
Uses her Devil Fruit powers (appendage other than hands)
Uses her Devil Fruit powers (for humorous purposes.)
Reads in a deck chair.
You think the fact that Nico's seiyuu also did Ritsuko's voice on NGE is something that bodes.
You wonder, along with Zoro, what she's really up to.
You start thinking of wicked ways to use her powers.

Three drinks when:
Nico cries.

Drink everything in the house if:
Nico discovers the true history of the world.

Vivi:
One drink if:
Vivi worries.
Vivi rides Carue
You can see the color of Vivi's pupils.
Vivi uses her strings.
Vivi has a flashback to the Whiskey Peak 'incident.'
Vivi bites her lip.
Until it bleeds (3 drinks!)
Mentions never forgiving Crocodile ever, ever, ever, everElt;br>Ends up on her hands and knees.

Two drinks if:
You wonder when the stress will make the girl crack.
You are amazed at Vivi's ability to purposely sabotage herself so that she never actually does anything considered 'bad' while working as Miss Wednesday.
Vivi has a Kohza flashback.
Vivi removes her strings from herEhirt.
Calls Zoro 'Mr. Bushido.'

3 drinks if:
You see when Vivi's eyes change shape from 'evil' almond to 'innocent' round, during the Whiskey Peak Arc.
You get the sniffles during the Alabasta Arc.

Drink everything in the house if:
Vivi achieves peace in Alaba - wait a second.  Wahoo!
