AMS product 

Two products must work with each other to satisfy bond terms

Dear Ocean Tariff Client,

Thank you all for your patience, we have been very busy negotiating the bond and AMS rates.  This letter confirms that we are endorsing only one product for the bond and one product for AMS.  The two products must work with each other to satisfy bond terms and conditions.  Washington International Insurance Company has appointed our bonding division Blue Pacific Services, Inc. to administer the bond program.  See following attachments for details.  Also, Descartes Systems Group with their AMS product Tradevision will work with us to assist clients of Ocean Tariff on AMS compliance.  Please watch for upcoming joint press release with our two firms working relationship.  Descartes offers “WebForms” with ease of use, and multi-language capability in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and many other European languages.  With a quick push of a button any user can choose a language of their choice.  The WebForms will quickly populate all fields with your desired language.  In addition, Descartes Systems have worldwide coverage with offices in many Asian and European countries.  Training will usually be done via the internet (web training), some training may come from a field office in your area.  Please contract us if you’re interested, we can provide a proposal with complete terms/conditions and pricing for your review.

The pricing available to Ocean Tariff clients is as follows:

Setup fee of $1,500.00USD (one time fee)

Monthly minimum of $250.00USD

Fee per manifest (in USD):

0-250                                $1.10

251-1000                     $0.80

1001-3000                  $0.70

3001-5000                  $0.55

5001-10000                $0.50

10001-20,000                $0.45

20,001+                 $0.40

To sign up, simply provide the following and we’ll issue a contract for you.  Please return this information with bond applications/payments.  To expedite, fax in the following information to FAX (562) 901-2688 and we can email you the contract.  You’ll be able to return contract, payment with the bond applications.

Ø       Address, phone and fax numbers

Ø       Email address

Ø       Number of locations (worldwide) that will enter your manifest information

Ø       Estimate number of manifest entries per month

We’ve been receiving thousands of requests and find that we’ve been unable to reply quickly.  This email should provide you with much of the information needed to submit AMS, bond and SCAC registry.
