Fairy Time
Time has no meaning in faeryland. A
day there could be a year or a centery to us. Time in
faeryland might be different from ours but the faeries
were bound by mortal seasons. May Day, Midsummers Eve and
Hallowe'en are considered the best time to see faeries or
getting into faeryland.While twlight,midnight and full
moons are the best time of the day. The days of the week
are significant also.
Tricksters
The Brownie or Hobgoblin was generally
believed to be very helpful faery that could turn nasty
if it was annoyed, the goblin became a general name for a
type of frighting, and dangerous spirit that delighted in
tormenting mankind. they were evil demons.
Folk tradition divided the faeries into
two seperate orders.'Seelie Court' Members of the 'Seelie
Court' were well disposed to mortals 'Unseelie Court'
imps from the underworld.
