2/23/99 - DV8 Basement - Ten Foot Pole, the Ataris, and Catch 22
Okay, well this was pretty cool. First was Catch 22, which I had only heard a little bit of before. They turned out to be pretty cool, playing everything from ska to extreme hardcore. Then it was the Ataris, who I'd seen before when they came with the Vandals. They also sounded good, playing songs about girls, girls, and even throwing in a song about girls. If you like songs about girls, you should check these guys out. Then it was time for Ten Foot Pole. They started out with "A.D.D.", and the place went insane. They really kicked some ass. They also included "Racer X" and my favorite, "It's Not Me." Plus, my brother got me one of the drummer's sticks. If you ever get a chance to see Ten Foot Pole, do it. They're really good live.
