Catch 22
CATCH 22, there is a reason why these guys are my favorite band. They took the small stage at 123 Pleasant Street in Morgantown, WV and shook the whole town. Playing some of the tracks off of
their upcoming album (sometime in August/September) for the first time anywhere, they had the whole crowd jumping and skanking along to what is going to make for an amazing follow up to
“Washed Up” the latest EP. Right now I’m deaf and have no voice, but I’m so pumped up for the next Catch 22 show this Friday in Pittsburgh I will not sleep till then. Catch 22 is taking over, check
them out in your area, and go buy their albums, on Victory Records. NOW!!!!!!!!!!
Other bands for the night where local favorites the Peckerheads, and the area ska band No Crowns. Both of which were good and have a decent local following. I must give a little extra credit to No
Crowns, they were really good, especially considering they all live in one of WVU’s awesome dormitory complexes (that’s sarcasm). I see a lot of these guys in the cafeteria in the mornings; I never
expected them to be that good. Anyone in the Morganhole area should check them out.
