The big cheese, updates everything in Midgar and Junon, he has the last say about everything.

Helps to create new weapons, and sells the weapons to everyone

Helps to look after housing and chases people with no homes, and "convinces" them to buy homes.

Develops new materia and is in charge of Mako infusing new soldiers

Some mean dudes, they are Shinra's illegitimate side, and carry out what the president and higher authorities do, must be tough.

(Must be 1st class Soldier first)

In ascending order with first as the best and 3rd as the worst, but make no mistake 3rd class is still an achievement. Weapons, equipment and training are supplied to 1st class soldiers.

(Please note that 1st class soldiers are Mako infused (see Mako rules) and  transferred to Junon immediately after 1 month)

Lieutenant:

Orders around the Army, higher pay and more responsibility.
