Gothic

I'm often accused of not being goth enough.. then when I try to explain that i just don't have to force myself down people's throats to be appreciated I get asked a second question, "What is actually gothic?” I'd like to try and answer this, yes an answer for that age old question... here is it..
There is no definition for the word “gothic”. Gothic has its own meaning for everyone and it would be unfair to explain it.
Gothic is a lifestyle, or better a way of life....

There is only one thing which is totally gothic and that's the colour black. You find it mainly in our clothes and hair, which can be anything from jumpers and drainpipes to full on ballgowns and other peroid dress. But not all goths are always dressed in black, there are many different styles of gothic, like white goth, which is embracing white as much as black, cybergoth (another sub culture which doesn't exist in definition) who adore bright colours, silvers and UV accessoires

Sadly goth has been watered down and you can buy goth on the high street, I don't rate anyone who buys goth, you can't sell your soul for goth, I appreciate that everything becomes commerical and why not buy some pieces of your wardrobe from the high street.. but what is truely goth is unique / handmade clothing, altering and coming up with something true to you..

"Mick Mercer likes me.. in a strange way.. "

under construction... lots more gothness to come..
