Some reasons to join DeMolay
This page was something I thought up to offer tribute to the greatest thing to ever happen to me...DeMolay.
DeMolay is an international fraternal organization, for young men aged 12-21 years of age. We make many close friends throughout the organization while we're members, and even afterwards. We are not a religious organisation. Therefore you can believe in whatever you want, and no one will object, or hold it against you. We encourage membership from wall walks of life. We only ask that you have a high moral character. We want people who will make DeMolay better and who can gain from, and contribute to DeMolay.
Joining DeMolay was probably the single best (and smartest) thing ever to happen to me. I've learned so many things in the 3 years I have been a member, and currently sit as Master Councillor of my local chapter (Stampede Chapter). I joined as a shy boy just before my 16th birthday. Since then I've become a much better public speaker, made many friends, made many adult connections through the organisations that associate with DeMolay, become more organized, and learned some great leadership skills. The most important thing is that I had a BLAST doing it.

Basically we're a bunch of guys trying to learn something usefull, have some fun, meet new people, and help each other through the hardest times...teenage life. I could talk about DeMolay for hours, but you probably dont want to read that much information. I'm working on something (slowly but surely) for our chapter. It'll involve a tentative calendar of the term with upcoming special events, ways to contact me or our chapter for more information on joining, and a roster of members. Don't get your hopes up because i'm sure it'll be a long time in the making. but just so you know...something is in the works.
