The Crew

I have a feeling now, before I even really begin to type this up, that this could be very well be the shortest review that I have typed out on this site so far. I was thinking about this before hand and I just could not come up with anything to say really about this movie except for really if I liked it or not. And did I...it was allright. An example of a movie where the funniest stuff is in the trailors. I'm sure you all know the plot so I won't even bother with that, not like I ever do anyways. I'm not saying that there weren't any other funny moments aside from the ones in the trailor, the main problem is that they were just too few and far between. The opening 10 minute that sets up the main story in flashback makes it look like it's going to be another very funny movie, but then the movie lags until the last 20 minutes or so when it picks back up and there are a few more laughs. The cast is good, my personal favourite being Burt Reynolds as his character was definatly the stand out as the most enjoyable and the funniest as well. So another decent entry into the 2000 summer movie catalogue, which was damn good in my opinion. I'm tired of people saying that this has been a terrible summer for movies. But that's a whole separate rant right there.
